摘要： A roll feed apparatus suited for use in automatic manufacturing machines, in feeding a sheet-like material intermittently. The apparatus comprises a main sector roll and a sub-sector roll adapted to cooperate with each other in clamping therebetween the sheet-like material and in feeding the same. The main sector roll and the sub-sector roll are operatively connected to each other through sector gears. The main sector roll is operatively connected to a rocker shaft which is adapted to be rocked in rotational direction so that the main sector roll and, hence, the sub-sector roll are made to rock as the rocker shaft makes a rocking rotation. A connection device is provided for operatively connecting the main sector roll to the rocker shaft in such a manner that the rocking angle of the main sector roll for a given rocking angle of the rocker shaft is changeable. The apparatus further has a roll release device adapted to release the sheet material from the clamping by the rolls when the rolls are reversed, and a braking device for fixing the sheet material against movement during reversing of the rolls.

摘要： An input shaft is drivingly connected to a crankshaft of a punch press for rotation at a preselected speed. A geared cam drive drivingly connects the input shaft to a driven feed roll so that continuous rotation of the input shaft is converted to intermittent rotation of the feed roll. The intermittent rotation of the feed roll is timed with the punching operation so that the feed roll intermittently advances a preselected length of stock material to the punch press after each punching operation. Bevel gears drivingly connect the input shaft to a pull roll that rotates to continuously unreel stock material from a coil. During the punching operation, rotation of the feed roll is interrupted forming a loop in the stock material between the pull roll and the feed roll. At the end of each punching operation the material forming the loop is fed by the feed roll to the punch press so that the stock material between the pull roll and the feed roll moves from a loop to a horizontal position to insure feeding the same length of material to the punch press for each cycle of operation.

摘要： An idler roller assembly is provided which permits angular adjustment of the idler roller relative to the housing of the punch press feed so that accurate tracking of the feed stock may be accomplished. The idler roller rotates within a frame that is supported by trunions within the housing of the feed. The trunions permit pivoting of the frame to move the idler roller toward and away from the driven roller of the feed. An eccentric adjustment is provided between one of the trunions and the housing of the feed so that minute angular adjustments may be made to the idler roller.

摘要： A system of punching, transferring, shearing, stacking, and/or forming is employed. An interface transferring mechanism is integrally provided on the punching apparatus and has a secondary workpiece gripping clamp alignable with the primary workpiece gripping clamps of the punching apparatus. A pivotal arm supports the secondary workpiece gripping clamp and is operable to pivot the workpiece off the workpiece supporting table of the punching apparatus and onto a stacking mechanism, shearing table, forming apparatus or the like. When used with the shearing apparatus, the secondary workpiece gripping clamp can be fed toward the shearing blade by the workpiece positioning means of the punching apparatus. An automatic folding machine includes a transfer table suitable for moving the workpiece to an inclined workpiece supporting surface on the folding machine. The transfer table includes retractable frictional conveyor belts that control movement of the workpiece so that it may be raised to an inclined position and positively fed at a controlled rate onto the inclined supporting surface.

摘要： The device comprises a micrometer adjustment which is built into a ratchet-type stock feeding device for a power operated press. The ratchet-type feed is provided with spaced plates and the spaced plates are provided with parallel extensions to which normally the dragging arm is attached. In accordance with the present invention, the dragging arm is attached to a short shaft extending through a movable block which slides between the two plates. A micrometer adjustment slidably moves the block in any desired position. This provides for a fine adjustment of the drive stroke of the drive shaft.
