    摘要: A roll feeder is usable to intermittently feed a coiled material. The roll feeder includes a paired first roll and second roll, a meandering detector, a pressing component, and a controller. The paired first roll and second roll are disposed so as to clamp the coiled material. The paired first roll and second roll are configured to feed the coiled material in a conveyance direction. The meandering detector is configured to detect meandering of the coiled material from a specific conveyance position in a width direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the coiled material. The pressing component is configured to press the first roll against the coiled material being conveyed. The controller is configured to control the pressing component so as to correct the meandering based on detection by the meandering detector.

A roll clearance is adjusted according to a sheet thickness by displacing the main roll up and down. A release device that temporarily releases a sheet material having been interposed by the both rolls just before the sheet material is subjected to press working by the press apparatus includes a sub-roll guide that can move up and down together with the sub-roll, a rectilinear cam, and cam followers for engagement with a cam surface of the rectilinear cam, and the release device moves the rectilinear cam axially of the sub-roll in synchronism with the operation of the press apparatus to thereby displace the sub-roll up and down through the cam followers and the sub-roll guide.

    摘要: The elongate rocker is forked at its first end and includes two fork tines. These are designed symmetrically relative to the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the rocker. A control rod with a longitudinal center axis is pivotally mounted at its bottom end to the second end of the rocker. A spiral pressing spring with a longitudinal center axis acts onto the rocker. The upper feeding roller is designed symmetrically to a plane extending perpendicularly relative to its longitudinal center axis. The longitudinal center axis of the control rod defines together with the longitudinal center axis of the pressing spring a geometrical plane. This plane coincides with the longitudinal plane of symmetry of the rocker, which in turn coincides with the geometrical plane which extends perpendicularly to the longitudinal center axis.

    摘要: The feeding apparatus is driven intermittently by a electric servomotor with a drive shaft. The upper feeding roller is held clamped in a bipartite upper shaft assembly between a shaft portion located adjacent the electric servomotor and a shaft portion located remote from the electric servomotor. The lower feeding roller is held clamped in a bipartite lower shaft assembly between a shaft portion located adjacent the electric servomotor and a shaft portion remote from the electric servomotor. The upper shaft assembly is supported in a rocker. The transmission of the driving force from the electric servomotor to the upper shaft assembly proceeds via a Oldham-type coupling. The transmission of the driving force from the upper shaft assembly to the lower shaft assembly proceeds via spur gear wheels. The connection between the drive shaft of the electric servomotor and the upper shaft assembly is accomplished by a multi-part clamping sleeve device. The one spur gear wheel and a part of the Oldham-type coupling are made integral with a part of the multi-part clamping sleeve device.

    摘要: An apparatus for measuring and controlling lengths of movement of a continuous stock material strip which is intermittently fed by feed rollers along a predetermined path of travel to a machine which includes a reciprocally operable carriage having tooling for acting upon the strip. The apparatus comprises a strip measuring mechanism for engaging with and sensing a length of movement of the strip and generating a first signal representative of the length of movement of the strip. A controller receives the first signal from the strip measuring mechanism, and comparing the first signal to a second signal representative of a predetermined desired length of movement of the strip. The controller generates a shut-down signal to the machine if the difference between the first and second signals exceeds a predetermined shut-down limit range and generates a length error signal representing the difference between the first and second signals. A bridge mechanism is connected to the controller and can be manually or automatically controlled for adjusting the succeeding lengths of movement of the strip based upon the length error signal.
