摘要： A conveyor belt comprises a plurality of interconnected elements (1, 2), which are successively arranged in the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt. The elements are movable relative to each other at least about axes (3) which extend transversely of the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt and in parallel with the plane of the conveyor belt. The elements (1, 2) are alternatively of a first type and a second type. Each element (1) of the first type has the form of an inversely U-shaped beam extended transversely of the longitudinal direction of the conveyor belt. This beam has flanges (6) and a web (7) interconnecting the flanges as well as a plurality of openings (8), spaced apart along the beam, in each border area between the web (7) and the respective flanges (6). Each element (2) of the second type has lugs (5), which are locked against complete withdrawal from the neighboring openings (8) in each of the two adjoining elements (1) of the first type.

The inner ends of the chain rods in each pair are aligned end-to-end with each other and then secured to the central belt. The outer ends are secured to the spaced-apart carriers. Preferably the central belt is composed of rubber. The chain rods in each pair are able to be flexed relative to each other without danger of breaking the rods.

摘要： A method and apparatus for producing conveyor belts having rigid carriers is proposed. The conveyor belts have elastic cover layers and are provided with fasteners that overlap the carriers to hold the same. The fasteners are first connected to the conveyor belt, whereupon the carriers are forced between the conveyor belt and the fasteners, accompanied by elastic deformation of the cover layer. This considerably simplifies the mounting and fixation of the carriers.

摘要： A belt-like conveyor including at least two continuous chains which are parallel to one another and driven by sprocket wheels. The chains have a number of overlapping chain links and a number of carrying bars which are disposed transversely to the chains to which the end pieces of the bars are also connected. The end pieces of the bars also function as pins for the chain links while penetrating two of the latter and the remaining part of the carrying bars between the two end pieces serve as a carrying area of the conveyor. The carrying bars extend over the top of the chain links toward the exterior and end portions of the carrying bars are U-like bent toward the bottom and toward the inside and penetrate the chain links from the exterior, which permits an unimpeded lateral sliding on and off of pieces and which provides an enlarged carrying area and which is also suited for conveying heavy pieces while developng only a low surface pressure.

In order not to have to further prepare the rods and the bands, yet to provide a secure connection, a holder extends about the rod ends, with the ends of the holder being held by clamps that are forced into the non-prepared bands. The clamps or securing elements could at the same time also be formed as holders and could thereby form the aforementioned holder.
