For instance, the composition can be used to remove hydrocarbon condensate liquids from a gas well or an oil well. Of particular advantage, the composition can foam liquids containing substantial amounts of hydrocarbons.

摘要: Produced water from a crude oil or natural gas production process is purified using a membrane purification system for petroleum production, agricultural, commercial and domestic uses. The produced water is pretreated to remove, at least, particulates and oil from the produced water. The minimally pretreated water is then purified in a membrane purification system, that is operated at conditions such that membrane scaling is reduced or prevented. In particular, the membrane purification system is operated to maintain the turbidity of clarified water feed to the system or intermediate aqueous streams that are cascading through the membrane purification system. Ensuring that the turbidity of the reject streams generated in the membrane system are useful in achieving long membrane operating life.

摘要: The present invention relates to a system for treatment of a mixture from a production well, said mixture comprising a first aqueous liquid and a second oily liquid, the treatment system comprising an extraction tube installed in said well and capable of conducting said mixture from the bottom of said well, a separator capable of separating the first liquid from the second liquid in said mixture, a first end of said tube being connected to the separator, a first injection means capable of injecting a first product into said tube, said first product being capable of improving the flocculation and coalescence of the second fluid in the mixture. Any diameter of the tube between said first end of the tube and a second end of said tube lies in an interval of 10% around a predetermined diameter.

摘要: A method of extracting gas from a tectonically-deformed coal seam in-situ by depressurizing a horizontal well cavity is provided. A horizontal well drilling and reaming subsystem constructs a U-shaped well in which a horizontal well adjoins a vertical well, and performs a reaming process on a horizontal section of the horizontal well to enlarge a hole diameter. A horizontal well hole-collapse cavity-construction depressurization excitation subsystem performs pressure-pulse excitation and stress release on the horizontal well of tectonically-deformed coal bed methane, and hydraulically displaces a coal-liquid-gas mixture such that the mixture is conveyed towards a vertical well section along a depressurizing space. A product lifting subsystem pulverizes the coal and lifts the mixture towards a wellhead of a vertical well. A gas-liquid-solid separation subsystem separates the coal, liquid and gas. A monitoring and control subsystem detects and controls the operation conditions and the execution processes of technical equipment in real time.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to, according to some embodiments, an extraction process for recovering an oil from an oil reservoir comprising a mobile water. The extraction process includes the step of injecting a first solvent into the oil reservoir through the at least one injection well to form a first mixture, the first mixture comprising the first solvent, a first portion of mobile water, and a first portion of oil. Additionally, the extraction process includes the steps of recovering the first mixture from the at least one production well to produce a first recovered oil mixture, the first recovered oil mixture comprising the first solvent, the first portion of the mobile water, and the first portion of oil; separating the first recovered oil mixture to produce a first recovered oil fraction that is separated from the first portion of mobile water and the first solvent; and injecting a second solvent into the oil reservoir through the at least one injection well to form a second mixture, the second mixture comprising the second solvent, a second portion of mobile water, and a second portion of oil. The extraction process also includes the steps of recovering the second mixture from the at least one production well to produce a second recovered oil mixture, the second recovered oil mixture comprising the second solvent, the second portion of the mobile water, and the second portion of oil, and separating the second recovered oil mixture to produce a second recovered oil fraction that is separated from the second portion of mobile water and the second solvent.

摘要: In one aspect there is provided a fluid treatment system for treating a contaminated fluid having a gaseous contaminant mixed or dissolved in the liquid portion thereof. The system comprises a generally enclosed and substantially airtight container defining an interior volume. The container comprises an inlet to receive the contaminated fluid, a gas outlet to discharge any gaseous contaminant and a liquid outlet to discharge any liquid that may be separated from said contaminated fluid. During operations, the container is sealed to maintain a seal between the interior volume and any outside environment, so as to prevent the escape of any liquids and gasses out of the interior volume, except as may be provided for via the inlet, the gas outlet or the liquid outlet. Also during operations, a continuous headspace is maintained between the at least one inlet and the at least one gas outlet.

摘要: A process is presented to treat a process stream containing a hydrocarbon (oil and/or gas) and hydrogen sulfide with a liquid treatment solution containing a sulfur dye catalyst. The process stream can be within a pipeline, wellbore, subsea pipeline or a wellhead that contains hydrogen sulfide where the liquid treatment solution is injected at a predetermined point to define a scavenger zone such that the sulfur dye catalyst in the liquid treatment solution causes the sulfide from the hydrogen sulfide to react with the catalyst. The hydrocarbon component is separated substantially free of the hydrogen sulfide from a spent treatment solution containing spent sulfur dye catalyst which can then be fed to an oxidation vessel where it is contacted with an oxygen containing gas causing the sulfide to oxidize to thiosulfate and converting the spent sulfur dye catalyst to regenerated sulfur dye catalyst. The thiosulfate can be recovered, and the regenerated sulfur dye catalyst can be recycled as part of the liquid treatment solution.

摘要: A modular skid mounted oil production system, comprising multiple skid sections that are connectable via alignment pins coupled to the skid beam structure. The alignment pins having a fork connector that is connected to a knife connector. When the skid sections are connected, the piping, electrical, and pneumatic tubing connectors are connectable to the other corresponding skid piping, electrical, and pneumatic tubing connectors without the need for welding or field construction of connecting components. The modular skid oil production system is capable of expansion or contraction as required by the operation of the system. For example the system includes removing a skid section having a larger separator and replacing it with a skid section having a smaller separator, without the need of welding or field construction of connecting components.
