    摘要: A first ground conductor is disposed in or on a main substrate. In or on an antenna module, a first antenna and a second ground conductor operating as a ground electrode of the first antenna are disposed. A coaxial cable including a core wire and an outer conductor feeds power to the first antenna. The outer conductor is electrically connected to the first ground conductor at a first position, and is connected to the second ground conductor at a second position. A second antenna including a feed element and a parasitic element operates at a lower frequency than the operating frequency of the first antenna. The second ground conductor and a part of the outer conductor from the first position to the second position also serve as the parasitic element of the second antenna.

    摘要: A magnetic field coupling element includes conductor patterns stacked with insulating layers interposed therebetween, and interlayer connection conductors that inter-connect the conductor patterns at predetermined positions. The conductor patterns include first, second, third, and fourth conductor patterns, and the interlayer connection conductors include first and second interlayer connection conductors. The first conductor pattern, the second conductor pattern, and the first interlayer connection conductor define a first coil, and the third conductor pattern, the fourth conductor pattern, and the second interlayer connection conductor define a second coil. The first coil and the second coil are disposed in a region of less than about ⅓ of a stacking height of a multi-layer body including the insulating layers.

    摘要: There is disclosed an antenna device comprising at least first and second electrically conductive tracks disposed in at least first and second planes in a laminate dielectric structure. Each electrically conductive track has at least two electrical connection points on an external surface of the laminate dielectric structure. The antenna device is reconfigurable between a plurality of different antenna types by connecting the electrical connection points to external circuitry in different configurations. In this way, a single antenna device may be configured as two or more of: a dielectric antenna, a planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA), a planar inverted-L antenna (PILA), a loop antenna, a monopole antenna and a capacitively-fed antenna.

    摘要: An antenna includes a first radiator and a first capacitor structure. A first end of the first radiator is electrically connected to a signal feed end of a printed circuit board by means of the first capacitor structure, and a second end of the first radiator is electrically connected to a ground end of the printed circuit board. The first radiator, the first capacitor structure, the signal feed end, and the ground end form a first antenna configured to produce a first resonance frequency. An electrical length of the first radiator is greater than one eighth of a wavelength corresponding to the first resonance frequency, and the electrical length of the first radiator is less than a quarter of the wavelength corresponding to the first resonance frequency.

    摘要: An antenna structure includes a housing, a radiator, a first feed portion, and a first ground portion. The housing includes a coupling portion and a coupling section. The first feed portion, the first ground portion, and the radiator are all positioned in the housing. When a first feed point supplies current, the current flows through the first feed portion and the radiator, and is coupled to one of the coupling portion and the coupling section through the radiator. The current is further coupled to the other one of the coupling portion and the coupling section through the one of the coupling portion and the coupling section. The radiator, the coupling portion, and the coupling section activate three different operating modes. Each mode operating generates radiation signals in one of three different radiation frequency bands.

    摘要: An electronic device may include a millimeter wave antenna having a ground plane, resonating element, feed, and parasitic element. The resonating element may include first, second, and third layer of traces that are shorted together. The second traces may be interposed between the first and third traces and the third traces may be interposed between the second traces and the parasitic. The third traces may have a width that is less than the widths of the second and third traces. The third traces and the parasitic may define a constrained volume having an associated cavity resonance that lies outside of a frequency band of interest. If desired, the resonating element may include a single layer of conductive traces having a grid of openings that disrupt impedance in a transverse direction, thereby mitigating the trapping of energy within the frequency band of interest between the resonating element and the parasitic.
