    Abstract: A distillate boiling range composition is provided with an unexpected distribution of carbon chain lengths for the hydrocarbons in the composition. The composition corresponds to a distillate boiling range composition with a relatively narrow boiling range. Additionally, the narrow boiling range composition can have unexpectedly beneficial cold flow properties.

    Abstract: A modular floating platform system includes a detachable floating buoy providing a body tethered to a seafloor with a plurality of mooring lines and coupled to a subsea production system via one or more communication lines, and a plurality of floating surface facilities, each floating surface facility providing a standardized bottom interface matable with the detachable floating buoy. A latching mechanism individually couples each floating surface facility to the detachable floating buoy when each floating surface facility is individually mated to the detachable floating buoy. One or more communication couplings place each floating surface facility in communication with the subsea production system via the one or more communication lines when each floating surface facility is individually mated to the detachable floating buoy.

    Abstract: A grouser for a track shoe, the grouser comprising a matrix material and a plurality of embedded inserts. The inserts are arranged in the matrix material to form one or more ice lugs. The inserts have a hardness greater than a hardness of the matrix material, such that use of the grouser on a track shoe will abrade the matrix material at a rate greater than a rate of abrasion of the insert material.

    Abstract: Crystalline support materials are provided that can serve as supports for polyamines. The support materials have a combination of properties that unexpectedly allows supported polyamines to retain an increased or maximized amount of CO2 sorption capacity after incorporation of substantial amounts of the polyamine on the support material. This combination of properties can include having a high pore volume, a high ratio of mesopore volume to micropore volume, and a sufficiently high acidity. The ability to allow supported amine sorbents to retain additional CO2 sorption capacity is unexpected. Conventionally, even when high pore volume support materials are used to support an amine sorbent, only a limited amount of the amine sorbent can be supported on the support material before substantial losses of sorbent capacity occur relative to the amount of amine sorbent.
