Abstract: Disclosed is a signal transmission method. The signal transmission method includes the steps of: setting a default value for generating a beamforming vector to be used for precoding; performing a calculation process of an outer layer for determining whether an accuracy of an energy efficiency satisfies a first threshold value range during a dual layer calculation process for maximizing an energy efficiency of a base station; performing a calculation process of an inner layer for calculating a predetermined second threshold value on which deterministic equivalence of a channel gain matrix coverage; generating a beamforming vector on the basis of values used in the calculation process of the outer layer and the calculation process of the inner layer, when the accuracy of the energy efficiency satisfies the first threshold value range in the calculation process of the outer layer; generating a transmission signal using the beamforming vector; and transmitting the generated transmission signal.

Abstract: A method is provided for determining a weight for hybrid beamforming. A base station signals, to a user equipment, a configuration for repeated transmission of a first omnidirectional beam equally formed in all directions, receives the first omnidirectional beam from the user equipment by forming a second omnidirectional beam, and repeatedly receives the first omnidirectional beam from the user equipment by sequentially forming a plurality of directional beams corresponding to a plurality of directions. The base station determines a weight for hybrid beamforming by obtaining a gain difference between the first omnidirectional beam received through the second omnidirectional beam and the first omnidirectional beam received through a first directional beam among the plurality of directional beams, selecting a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) and acquiring, based on the PMI, a coefficient of a phase shifter and a coefficient of a power amplifier for analog beamforming of the hybrid beamforming.

Abstract: Provided are a method and an apparatus for transmitting uplink data based on hybrid beamforming in a wireless communication system. Specifically, a user equipment (UE) receives a first modulation and coding scheme (MCS) determined based on a sounding reference signal from a base station (BS) through an uplink grant. The UE determines an MCS offset based on a variation of an uplink channel when the variation of the uplink channel between a subframe for transmitting the sounding reference signal and a subframe for receiving the uplink grant is a threshold or greater. The UE transmits uplink data to the BS using a second MCS acquired from the first MCS and the MCS offset.
