Abstract: A method generates binaural headphone playback signals given multiple audio source signals with associated metadata and a binaural room impulse response (BRIR) database, where the audio source signals can be channel-based, object-based, or a mixture of both signals. The method groups the audio source signals according to positions of the audio sources, divides BRIR into blocks and frames, where the BRIR is divided into a direct block and diffuse blocks, and divides each audio source signal into blocks and frames, wherein the source signal is divided into a current block and previous blocks, and the current block is further divided into the frames. The method further averages, for each of previous frames of the source signals, the divided BRIR identified with the grouping result by downmixing the previous frames of the source signals according to the grouping result, and performs a convolution with the downmixed previous frame.

Abstract: A transmitting apparatus generates at least one of a first type of schedule element supporting an allocation involving a single channel and a second type of schedule element supporting an allocation involving a plurality of channels and transmits a MAC frame including the generated at least one schedule element over a first channel. When the allocation involving the plurality of channels includes the first channel, the transmitting apparatus generates a first type of schedule element including information regarding the allocation involving the plurality of channels and generates the second type of schedule element including difference information, and when the allocation involving the plurality of channels does not include the first channel, the transmitting apparatus omits the generation of the first type of schedule element and generates the second type of schedule element including all the information regarding the allocation involving the plurality of channels.

Abstract: A control method includes: receiving first information pertaining to a first contract from a first terminal used by a first user who is one of two parties who have agreed to the first contract; when consent of a party aside from the two parties is required to validate the first contract, identifying a second user as the party aside from the two parties with reference to a ledger storing information pertaining to a past contract, and transmitting the first information to a second terminal operated by the second user; obtaining second information in which a confirmation result indicating whether the second user consents to the first contract and a digital signature of the second user are added to the first information; and confirming the second information, and when the confirmation result indicates consent, setting the first contract as a valid contract and storing the second information in the ledger.

Abstract: An encoder which encodes a current block to be encoded in an image includes: a transformer which performs a primary transform from residuals of the current block to primary coefficients, determines whether to apply a secondary transform to the current block, and performs the secondary transform from the primary coefficients to secondary coefficients when the secondary transform is applied; a quantizer which calculates quantized primary coefficients by performing a first quantization on the primary coefficients when a secondary transform is not applied, and calculates quantized secondary coefficients by performing a second quantization different from the first quantization on the secondary coefficients when the secondary transform is applied; and an entropy encoder which generates an encoded bitstream by encoding either quantized primary coefficients or quantized secondary coefficients.

Abstract: A reception processor receives the cell detection reference signals, each of the cell detection reference signals being transmitted from corresponding one of a plurality of cells. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a transmission device, a reception device, a transmission method and a reception method. The transmission device comprises a circuitry which, in operation, maps data and/or a reference signal onto a resource unit of a communication system. The resource unit includes subcarriers of a first numerology and subcarriers of a second numerology, each of the subcarriers being orthogonal to the other subcarriers of the same numerology, wherein the first numerology differs from the second numerology at least by a larger subcarrier spacing, and the subcarriers of the first and the second numerologies are frequency-multiplexed on a subcarrier basis. The transmission device further comprises a transmitter which, in operation, transmits the mapped data and/or reference signal in the resource unit, including subcarriers of the first and/or of the second numerology, and also transmits an indication of the mapping for the resource unit, which comprises references to subcarriers from the subcarriers of the first and/or the second numerology, where: for the first numerology, all subcarriers of the resource unit can be referenced, and for the second numerology, only inter-numerology-orthogonal subcarriers thereof can be referenced, each of the inter-numerology-orthogonal subcarriers being centrally aligned with a subcarrier of the first numerology.

Abstract: A communication apparatus includes circuitry and a transmitter. The circuitry sets a number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates per aggregation level in a search space of a signal, and indicates the set number of PDCCH candidates to a user equipment (UE) wherein the search space is monitored by the UE based on the set number of PDCCH candidates. The transmitter transmit the signal. A maximum number of monitored PDCCH candidates per slot depends on a subcarrier interval. A first subcarrier interval is one-quarter as wide as a second subcarrier interval, and a first maximum number of monitored PDCCH candidates per slot with the first subcarrier interval is not four times as high as a second maximum number of monitored PDCCH candidates per slot with the second subcarrier interval.
