Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal for performing a handover procedure in a mobile communication system from a source to a target base station. The target base station is configured for the mobile terminal with at least a first and a different second bandwidth part within its cell bandwidth. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an NTN entity comprising the following. A receiver of the NTN entity receives a channel status report from a user equipment, UE, the channel status report providing information on a channel between the UE and the NTN entity. A transmitter of the NTN entity forwards the received channel status report to a base station. The receiver receives scheduling information from the base station regarding a downlink or uplink transmission of the data with for the UE. A processor of the NTN entity determines an updated channel status. The processor determines whether to adapt a transmission power for the downlink or uplink transmission according to the received scheduling information, based on the updated channel status. The processor, when having determined to adapt the transmission power, adapts the transmission power for the downlink or uplink transmission.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal, a base station and respective operation methods. The mobile terminal comprises circuitry, which in operation assumes that a base station is configured to use one of a plurality of transmission beams, receives a downlink control channel candidate and a corresponding demodulation reference signal using one of a plurality of reception beams corresponding to the assumed one of the plurality of transmission beams, performs channel estimation based on the received demodulation reference signal, and, depending on the quality, demodulates the downlink control channel candidate using the channel estimation. The channel estimation is performed using a demodulation reference signal sequence which is generated observing an association which is associating the generated sequence with the assumed one of the plurality of transmission beams such that at least two of the plurality of transmission beams are associated with different demodulation reference signal sequences.

Abstract: Provided are a user equipment (UE), a scheduling node, and communication methods for a UE and a scheduling node. The UE comprises a transceiver which, in operation, performs listen before talk, LBT and circuitry which, in operation, performs at least one of: incrementing a counter upon determining LBT failure, starting a triggering timer upon determining LBT failure if the triggering timer is not running, and determining whether the counter has reached a threshold value upon expiry of the triggering timer; and incrementing the counter upon determining a number N of consecutive LBT failures due to ongoing LBT backoff. The circuitry generates a indicating consistent LBT failure upon determining that the counter has reached the threshold value, and the transceiver, in operation, declares consistent LBT failure.

The transmission device further comprises a transmitter which, in operation, transmits the mapped data and/or reference signal in the resource unit, including subcarriers of the first and/or of the second numerology, and also transmits an indication of the mapping for the resource unit, which comprises references to subcarriers from the subcarriers of the first and/or the second numerology, where: for the first numerology, all subcarriers of the resource unit can be referenced, and for the second numerology, only inter-numerology-orthogonal subcarriers thereof can be referenced, each of the inter-numerology-orthogonal subcarriers being centrally aligned with a subcarrier of the first numerology.
