A mold posture setting method for an injection molding machine includes: a preparation step of preparing, in advance, a mold posture setting device for setting of a posture of a mold set, and fixing its position on a platen plate surface; a mold bringing and fitting step of bringing the mold set into the inter platen space and fitting a locating ring of the mold set into a fitting hole of the plate surface; and a mold posture setting step of setting the posture of the mold set to a prescribed posture by parallel shifting a mold edge regulation member via a guidance means.
Abstract:
The fluid clamp apparatus includes: a sliding piston member that vertically partitions its cylinder bore; first and second fluid pressure operation chambers; a fluid passage that, during an upward light-load stroke of the piston member, causes the back pressure in the second fluid pressure operation chamber to be received by the output rod to advance the output rod; a force multiplying mechanism that, during a heavy-load stroke of the piston member, multiplies the force acting on the piston member and transmits this force to the output rod; and a link mechanism that, during unclamping lowering operation of the piston member, links together the output rod and the piston member after lowering by a predetermined stroke amount.
Abstract:
A fluid pressure cylinder comprises a rod insertion hole formed in a piston member, an auxiliary rod provided to a head side wall member so as to be inserted into the rod insertion hole, an open/shut valve mechanism for detection, and a fluid passage that is opened and shut by the open/shut valve mechanism. The open/shut valve mechanism includes a valve body reception hole formed in the auxiliary rod, a valve body that is movably held in the valve body reception hole and that has a recessed engagement portion on its external peripheral portion, and a spherical body mounted on the auxiliary rod so as to engage with the recessed engagement portion; when the piston member has reached a set shifting position, the valve body is changed over to the closed position or to the opened position due to cooperation between the spherical body, the recessed engagement portion, and the inner peripheral wall portion of the rod insertion hole.
Abstract:
A positioning device capable of increasing the amount of diametrical expansion of an engagement member to be engaged in a cylindrical hole in a workpiece, and capable of performing positioning while not exerting any force on the workpiece in the downward direction positions a cylindrical hole (Ha) in a workpiece (W) in a first direction while permitting shifting thereof in a second direction, the device comprising: the insertion shaft member; a hydraulic cylinder for driving the insertion shaft member; a pair of engagement members; a taper engagement mechanism for shifting the engagement members to increase their diameter; and a movement permitting holding mechanism that, along with supporting the engagement members, so that they cannot shift in the first direction but are capable of shifting in the second direction.
Abstract:
An open/shut valve mechanism for detecting that a piston member of a hydraulic pressure cylinder has reached an unclamp position comprises: a valve body reception hole that communicates with a unclamp hydraulic pressure operating chamber, a valve body movably received in the valve body reception hole and having an annular concave engagement portion on its external circumferential portion; a spherical body that is movably installed in a cylinder main body and that can engage with the concave engagement portion; and an engagement portion that is formed on an auxiliary rod and with which the spherical body can engage; and when hydraulic pressure is charged into the unclamp hydraulic pressure operating chamber and the piston member has reached its unclamp position, the valve body receives the hydraulic pressure, a portion of the spherical body engages to the engagement portion and the valve body changes over to the valve closed position; and, when the piston member has shifted from its unclamp position, the spherical body engages with the annular concave engagement portion without engaging to the engagement portion, so that the valve body is held in its open position.
Abstract:
A clamp device includes a clamp main body, an engagement assembly, a clamp rod, a drive mechanism, and a support mechanism. The engagement assembly can be changed over between a diameter-expanded state in which it engages with an inner circumferential surface of an aperture in a workpiece, and a diameter-reduced state in which it does not so engage. The clamp rod is engaged with an interior of the engagement assembly. The drive mechanism drives the clamp rod to and from the clamp main body. The support mechanism supports the engagement assembly with a pneumatic force of pressurized air. At least a part of the pneumatic force is released after the engagement assembly has been expanded in diameter.
Abstract:
A positioning and fixing device positions a work pallet in the vertical and horizontal directions relative to a base member via a ring member, and also restricts its rotation around the vertical axis. The base member has Z reference surfaces that can stop a lower end reference surface of the ring member and position it in the vertical direction, and a tapered male engagement portion whose horizontal cross section is formed as a regular polygon having a plurality of outwardly convex circular arcuate vertex portions and a plurality of side portions, and that reduces in diameter upwards. The ring member has a tapered female engagement portion that can engage with the tapered male engagement portion so that its lower end reference surface is in contact against the Z reference surfaces. A clamp mechanism for fixing the ring member to the base member is provided, and the side portions of at least one of the tapered female engagement portion and the tapered male engagement portion are adapted to engage in close contact with the other via elastic deformation.
Abstract:
A fluid passage connection device includes a positioning mechanism that incorporates a male coupler attached to a stationary base member and a female coupler attached to a movable member, and that positions the movable member with respect to the base member so that it becomes possible to connect the male and female couplers, and a clamping mechanism that drives the movable member in order to clamp and fix the movable member with respect to the base member by the elastic force of a spring, and that also releases this clamping with the hydraulic pressure of a hydraulic cylinder; and the male coupler has a connection sleeve that is driven to retract by hydraulic pressure and is driven to advance by a spring, with a hydraulic passage being provided that interconnects a hydraulic pressure operation chamber of the connection sleeve and an unclamping hydraulic chamber of the hydraulic cylinder.
