摘要： One embodiment of the present invention is a smoothing pad for bare semiconductor wafers the smoothing pad for bare semiconductor wafers. The smoothing pad comprises a smoothing body having a closed-cell thermoplastic foam comprising an ethylene vinyl acetate block copolymer comprising a vinyl acetate content ranging from about 1 to about 18 wt %. The smoothing body is substantially free of particles having an average size of greater than about 1 micron. Other aspects of the invention comprise a method of preparing a bare semiconductor wafer and a method of manufacturing a pad for smoothing bare semiconductor wafers.

Separate portions of faucet handles and/or spouts can be illuminated individually or as a group. A faucet spout and/or handle can include translucent or transparent material that captures and redirects light from the base, and may have opaque areas that provide other interesting patterns. The faucet light or lights can also serve as a nightlight for a bathroom or kitchen, saving the space that a separate nightlight would require. In another embodiment a light is provided in a faucet spout, which can illuminate a sink for a pleasing effect, and can also serve as a nightlight. The spout can be translucent, carrying light as well as water from its base. Lighted bathroom accessories can include towel bars or rings, toilet paper holders, paper towel holders, robe hooks, soap holders or grab bars.

摘要： An electronic slot machine game is set forth which includes an on-screen bonus and one or more separate screen bonuses. A processor randomly selects to activate a coordinate of a game matrix having one or more pay lines. The coordinate remains activated until a bonus is triggered. When a triggering symbol is randomly assigned to an activated coordinate, an on-screen bonus is issued. When the bonus is issued, all activated coordinates are de-activated. The bonus is related to the amount wagered to play the game, the number of activated coordinates and assigned values or multipliers. Second screen bonuses are triggered by scattered symbols or symbols on enabled pay lines and include a game themed screen for the player to select from a plurality of hidden bonuses or issues a random bonus accompanied by an entertaining video segment.

摘要： Methods to provide an enhanced likelihood of winning an award and to provide enhanced awards based upon the appearance of symbols on free paylines or free hands of cards. One embodiment uses fifty base paylines and one free payline. The base paylines and the free payline are defined using the same symbol matrix and same reel strips. The free payline is an additional payline with same frequencies of wins and losses as the base paylines. The player wagers upon any number of base paylines. In addition to the wagered upon base paylines, the player also receives a free payline if a designated number of base paylines are wagered upon. A multiplier enhances the award for winning symbol combinations appearing on the free payline, with the multiplier value equal to the total wager. Another embodiment includes a poker game in which a player wagers upon any number of displayed poker hands. In addition to the hands wagered upon, the player also receives at least one free hand if a designated number of hands are wagered upon.
