    Abstract: In a power transmission apparatus, a centrifugal clutch includes a holder, a press, a first spherical 14bodv that is partially protruded from a first opening and in contact with a rolling contact surface of the press so as to be rollable thereon, and a second spherical body that is partially protruded from a second opening and in contact with a rolling contact surface of the holder so as to be rollable thereon. A through hole has a tapered shape from the first opening to the second opening. Disconnection of the first spherical body is prevented by an outer peripheral edge of one of the first opening and the second opening that has a smaller diameter.

    Abstract: A power transmission device has a first pressure member (5a), a second pressure member (5b) and a back-torque transmitting cam. The first pressure member (5a) presses the drive-side clutch plates (6) and the driven-side clutch plates (7) against each other. The second pressure member (5b) releases a press-contact force between the drive-side clutch plates (6) and the driven-side clutch plates (7). The back-torque transmitting cam moves the second pressure member (5b) relative to the first pressure member (5a) to keep pressing the drive-side clutch plates (6) and the driven-side clutch plates (7) against each other when a rotational force is input to the clutch member (4), via the output shaft (3), in a process where the weight member (8) moves from the radially-outer position to the radially-inner position and the first pressure member (5a) moves to follow the interlocking member (9).

    Abstract: A motor vehicle has a motor performing power driving and regeneration. The motor includes an inverter, a first power storage device suppling energy to the motor, a power converter and a circuit. The converter has a voltage step down function during the power driving and a voltage step up function during the regeneration. The power converter, with the voltage step down function during the power driving, is connected in the circuit to the first power storage device. During the power driving of the motor, the power converter steps down an output voltage of the first power storage device to supply the energy from the first power storage device to the inverter. During the regeneration in the motor, the power converter steps up a DC voltage of the inverter to recover regenerated energy into the first power storage device.

    Abstract: A motor vehicle has a motor performing power driving and regeneration. The motor has an inverter, a first power storage device with a large-capacity characteristic, a second power storage device with a high-power characteristic, a power converter and a circuit. The power converter has a voltage step down function during the power driving and a voltage step up function during the regeneration. In the circuit, the power converter, with the voltage step down function during the power driving, is connected to the first power storage device and the second power storage device is connected in series between a reactor of the power converter and the inverter. During the power driving of the motor, an output voltage of the first power storage device is stepped down to supply energy from the first power storage device and the second power storage device to the inverter.

    Abstract: A power transmission device has a pressure member (5) pressing drive-side clutch plates and driven-side clutch plates against each other or releasing a press-contact force. A clutch spring (10) urges the pressure member (5) in a direction so that the clutch plates are pressed against each other. A separate receiving member (11) is attached to the pressure member (5). A back-torque limiting cam reduces press-contact force between the clutch plates when the rotation speed of an output member exceeds the rotation speed of an input member. A rotation restricting portion (8a) restricting rotation, relative to the clutch member (4), of the pressure member (5) that has moved due to activation of the push rod (9). A clearance t is maintained between the pair of cam surfaces that constitute the back-torque limiting cam.

    Abstract: Provided is a centrifugal clutch configured so that a clutch weight can be smoothly displaced without interference with backward displacement of the clutch weight in a rotary drive direction of a drive plate and assist thrust can be stably generated. A centrifugal clutch 200 includes, through swing support pins 214, clutch weights 230 on a drive plate 210 to be rotatably driven by drive force of an engine, and includes plate-side cam bodies 218 and dampers 221. The clutch weight 230 turnably displaces to a clutch outer 240 side through the swing support pin 214, and includes a weight-side cam body 235 configured to climb on the plate-side cam body 218 and a damper groove 236. The damper groove 236 is formed such that a groove width W2 for fitting the damper 221 when the clutch weight 230 is at a clutch-ON position is wider to a front side in a rotary drive direction of the drive plate 210 than a groove width W1 for fitting the damper 221 when the clutch weight 230 is at a clutch-OFF position.

    Abstract: Provided is a centrifugal clutch configured so that tilt of a clutch weight can be more effectively reduced to reduce occurrence of uneven wear of the clutch weight and a clutch shoe and smoothly swing the clutch weight. A centrifugal clutch 200 includes clutch weights 230 and plate-side cam bodies 218 on a drive plate 210 to be rotatably driven by drive force of an engine. The clutch weight 230 turnably displaces to a clutch outer 240 side, and includes a weight-side cam body 238 configured to climb on the plate-side cam body 218. In the clutch weight 230, each of a center portion CCP in a cam contact area CE between the plate-side cam body 218 and the weight-side cam body 238, the positions FP1, FP2 of action of force F1, F2 of a coupling spring 235, and a center portion SCP of a clutch shoe 236 in a thickness direction thereof is coincident with a barycentric position WCP of the clutch weight 230.
