摘要： In a head protecting airbag device, an airbag includes an inflation portion and a connection port portion. The connection port portion includes: an outlet side portion having a communication port to the inflation portion at its lower end; and an inlet side portion for inserting an inflator therein. The inflator includes a body portion having a gas discharge port, and a diffuser having a gas outlet port. The diffuser is connected with the body portion so as to cover the gas discharge port, having its two ends forced into contact with the outer circumference of the body portion. The inflator is connected to a connection port portion with good sealing properties and the gas outlet port faces toward the communication port of the connection port portion and thus toward the inflation portion. This head protecting airbag device simplifies the connection structure between the inflator and the airbag while retaining the quick expansion and inflation of the airbag.

摘要： An optical pickup apparatus couples light beams, and corrects a chromatic aberration and a spherical aberration. A coupling lens includes groups of lenses common to the light sources so as to converge a light beam from each of the light sources. An aperture changes an aperture diameter for the light beam, which has been converged by the coupling lens, in accordance with one of the light sources from which the light beam is emitted. An objective lens converges the light beam onto a recording surface of one of the optical information recording media corresponding to the one of the light sources that emits the light beam. A lens moving mechanism moves at least one group of lenses from among the groups of lenses of the coupling lens in a direction of an optical axis thereof in accordance with an aperture diameter of the aperture.

摘要： A head protecting airbag device of the invention is provided with an airbag which expands to cover the vehicular interior sides of a window and a pillar garnish. Near the front or rear edge of an inner panel, a guide member is so arranged in the vertical direction that its vehicular interior side is covered by the edge portion of the pillar garnish. A flexible connection member, which is slidably connected to the guide member, is connected to a portion of the airbag toward the center of the window. Moreover, the connection member pushes open the edge portion of the pillar garnish toward the vehicular interior side as the connection member slides downward along the guide member when the airbag expands.
