    摘要: An optical recording and playback apparatus includes: a light source configured to emit a light beam; a tracking mirror configured to change a direction of the light beam; a collimator configured to form the light beam into a parallel light beam; an objective lens configured to collect the parallel light beam to the optical tape; a lens actuator configured to adjust a position of the objective lens in a focus direction of the optical tape and a position of the objective lens in a tracking direction of the optical tape; a polarization hologram plate configured to separate a reflected light beam of the light beam; a photodetector receiving elements configured to receive the plurality of light fluxes; and a control circuit configured to control the lens actuator and the tracking mirror. The tracking mirror is disposed near the light source, and movable in the tracking direction.

The recording device includes a recording medium 224, a motor 222 that drives the recording medium, and a recording device head M1 that records and reproduces a signal to and from the recording medium. The recording device also has a displacement control mechanism M2. The displacement control mechanism M2 includes a vibrating plate 226 that has two opposing surfaces facing the recording medium, the vibrating plate being displaced in the rotation axis direction of the recording medium; and an oscillator 232 that is positioned away from the two opposing surfaces of the vibrating plate facing the recording medium, the oscillator driving and displacing the vibrating plate.

The optical disc device for reading the information recorded on the optical disc medium under an operation condition corresponding to a value set with respect to a predetermined control parameter corrects the value of the predetermined control parameter by repeatedly executing, while an operation of reading the information from the optical disc medium is being performed, processing of: acquiring, with respect to two values of the predetermined control parameter, evaluation values indicating accuracy of the reading of the information from the optical disc medium, respectively; and updating the value of the predetermined control parameter based on the two acquired evaluation values.

    摘要: An optical disc device and a recording method is provided in which information can be additionally recorded on an optical disc, which has a servo layer and recording layers separately formed, by accurately correcting a relative angle between a light beam and the optical disc used in the previous recording without providing an area where recording is not performed while maintaining the stability of tracking servo. The above subject can be solved by studying with high accuracy the relative angle between the optical disc and the optical axis used in the previous recording by applying a radial tilt servo according to a signal from the recording layers with the tracking servo applied by the servo layer. Further, the additional recording can be performed stably by fixing the radial tilt at the previously studied angle when the recording is performed.

A variable-focus lens actuator can correct spherical aberration such that a transparent deformation film warps into a parabolic shape when a magnetic field is applied thereto, thereby changing the light intensity distribution of transmitted light. Further, the variable-focus lens actuator can correct coma aberration and/or astigmatism by arbitrarily tilting the transparent film to change the proceeding direction of the transmitted light.
