Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media are disclosed herein that generate computer-executable instructions that are executed by an autonomous vehicle and cause the autonomous vehicle to follow a specific route to deliver or pickup of an item. Using an inference model, historical data of off-street terrain used for prior deliveries and on-street terrain in map data are leveraged to generate candidate routes for the “last 10 feet” of a delivery. One of the candidate routes is selected by the inference model. Then, computer-executable instructions are generated that, when executed by an autonomous vehicle, cause the autonomous vehicle to follow the selected route and perform the last 10 feet of delivery.

In another embodiment, a system for handling objects is provided. The system is designed to support automated or semi-automated loading and/or unloading of objects, e.g., onto or from a mobile robotic platform, and may be implemented in a vehicle, in one aspect.

Abstract: Various embodiments provide systems, methods, and computer program products for dynamically monitoring transport of a plurality of packages potentially containing regulated goods so as to ensure compliance with one or more regulations within a plurality of jurisdictions. The embodiments utilize one or more computer processors or one or more executable portions to: receive transport data associated with the transport of at least one of the plurality of packages and regulatory data associated with the at least one jurisdiction in which transport occurs; determine whether the one of the plurality of packages contains at least one regulated good; if the presence of at least one regulated good is determined, validate consignor data and the transport data; whereby in response to an unsuccessful validation, at least one report is generated to prevent or otherwise mitigate transport of the one of the plurality of packages in the at least one identified jurisdiction.

The standardized language may be generated by translating the information/data stored in the non-indexable information/data fields to enable indexing of the entire information/data profile. The information/data profile may be utilized to generate various information/data outputs, such as shipping labels including at least one of the standardized language or the other language while enabling the information/data profile to be indexed based at least in part on the standardized language.

Various embodiments identify nearby serviceable points based on an identification of serviceable points being logically clustered. Thereafter, shipping data for a first shipment to be delivered to the serviceable point is received, and the record for the serviceable point is accessed to retrieve the data identifying the second serviceable point. A second shipment scheduled to be delivered to the second serviceable point is identified, and an indication is provided that the first and second shipments are eligible for synchronized delivery.

Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for arranging for shipping a package without the customer needing to generate or apply a shipping label, or any other information, to the package. In one embodiment, a system may comprise a carrier server and a carrier device. The carrier server may receive and store a smart code and shipping information associated with the package, which it may link together. The carrier device may capture the smart code from the package and send a request, including the smart code, to the carrier server for related shipping information. The carrier server may receive the request from the carrier device, retrieve the shipping information based on the smart code, and send the shipping information to the carrier device. The carrier device may receive the shipping information and generate a shipping label for the package based on the shipping information.
