Abstract: Systems and methods for control signaling for beam searching latency reduction are disclosed herein. A g Node B (gNB) may determine that a first Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) and a second SSB are to be spatially correlated and may select a first transmit (Tx) beam to transmit the first SSB and a second Tx beam to transmit the second SSB accordingly. The gNB may also transmit a correlation message including spatial correlation information to help a UE determine the spatial correlation. The UE may measure the first SSB on a first subset of a plurality of receive (Rx) beams and measure the second SSB on a second subset of the plurality of Rx beams, and select an Rx beam for one or both. In some embodiments, channel state information reference signals (CSI-RS) that are quasi co-located (QCLed) with a given SSB may be measured in place of the SSB.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to determine a default beam for a dedicated PUCCH/SRS in a CC. The UE may determine a pathloss RS has been configured in the CC, e.g., responsive to the UE determining that spatial relationship information for a default transmission beam has not been configured and determine the default beam for transmissions based, at least in part, on the (configured) pathloss RS. Additionally, responsive to determining that the pathloss RS has not been configured in the CC, the UE may determine that no CORESETs/TCI states for a PDSCH in the CC have been configured and determine the default beam for transmissions based, at least in part, on a default transmission beam in another CC, a CC index, a PRACH procedure; a PUSCH transmission; an SRS transmission, and/or a PUCCH transmission.

Abstract: The present application relates to improving coverage and reliability of cellular emergency service. Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are provided for supporting blind retransmission. In one example, a method includes processing control information that indicates resources for communication of a physical downlink shared channel or a physical uplink shared channel (PDSCH/PUSCH) transmission and timing information for a retransmission of the PDSCH/PUSCH. The method includes configuring operation to: receive the PDSCH/PUSCH transmission based on the resources; and determine that a subsequent PDSCH/PUSCH received at a subsequent time corresponds to the retransmission of the PDSCH/PUSCH when the subsequent time coincides with the indicated timing information for the retransmission and, in response combine the PDSCH/PUSCH with the retransmission in a HARQ buffer for decoding purposes.
