摘要: A golf ball comprising a core, a cover, and a clear paint outer layer. The cover comprises 100 parts by weight of an ionomer resin, a light stabilizer and an ultraviolet (UV) absorber such that the total amount of the light stabilizer and the UV absorber is present in an amount of 0.1 to 5 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the cover resin and an amount ratio of the light stabilizer / the UV absorber is from 75/25 to 25/75. The clear paint comprises a light stabilizer and a UV absorber in an amount of 0.1 to 20 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the paint solid and an amount ratio of the light stabilizer / the UV absorber of 75/25 to 5/95. The clear paint further comprises a fluorescent whitening agent in an amount of 0.04 to 1.6 parts by weight based on 100 parts weight of the paint solid.

摘要: A one-piece golf ball exhibiting an increased flying distance and a high durability suitable for golf driving ranges, i.e. a solid golf ball having a central hardness (JIS-C hardness) of 60 to 75, a hardness at a position 10 mm from the center of 72 to 80 and a surface hardness of 70 to 85, whereby the central hardness is minimum, and the difference between the maximum hardness and the minimum hardness is 15 or less, said golf ball being obtained by vulcanizing and molding a rubber composition comprising(a) 100 parts by weight of polybutadiene rubber, mainly comprising high-cis-polybutadiene rubber containing the cis-1,4-structure in a quantity of at least 96% and having a Mooney viscosity of 48 to 85 synthesized by the use of a nickel-containing catalyst;(b) 0.1 to 2.0 parts by weight of 2,5-di-t-butylhydroquinone as a vulcanization stabilizer;(c) 10 to 50 parts by weight of unsaturated carboxylic acids and/or salts thereof; and(d) 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of a free radical initiator.

摘要: Vinegar having an acetic acid concentration higher than 20 percent weight by volume is produced in a submerged fermentation by maintaining the temperature of a fermenting broth at 27.degree.-32.degree. C. until the acetic acid concentration of the fermenting broth (after the initiation of fermentation) reaches 12-15 percent weight by volume. Then the temperature of the fermenting broth is lowered by 0.5.degree. C. to 2.degree. C. Fermentation is continued at the lower temperature until the concentration of acetic acid increases by between 0.05 to 2 percent weight by volume. At this time, the temperature is again reduced by from 0.5.degree. C. to 2.degree. C. The fermentation is continued, with subsequent temperature reductions of from 0.5.degree. C. to 2.degree. C. each time that the concentration of acetic acid in the fermentation broth increases by 0.05 to 2 percent weight by volume over the highest concentration found in the course of the fermentation at the preceeding temperature stage, until the desired concentration of acetic acid is obtained. However, at no time is the temperature of the fermenting broth allowed to fall below 20.degree. C.
