    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a backlight module and a liquid crystal display using the same. The backlight module includes a light guide plate, a light source and a plurality of light extraction gratings. The light source is disposed at an end of the light guide plate. A plurality of light extraction gratings are disposed on a light emission surface of the light guide plate, and are arranged in an array. The plurality of light extraction gratings are divided into a plurality of regions arranged at equal intervals in a direction from the end of the light guide plate near the light source to another end of the light guide plate away from the of the light source, a gap between adjacent columns of two adjacent regions is a+b, where a is a gap between adjacent columns in the same region and b is a width of one light extraction grating.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a protection circuit and method, a pixel circuit, and a display device. The protection circuit comprises a determination circuit, a first coupling circuit, a first terminal and a second terminal. The determination circuit is coupled to the first terminal and the first coupling circuit, and is configured to determine whether the voltage at the first terminal of the protection circuit belongs to one of a first predetermined range and a second predetermined range. The first coupling circuit is coupled to the first terminal, the second terminal and the determination circuit, and is configured to: couple the first terminal to the second terminal in response to the voltage at the first terminal belonging to the first predetermined range; and decouple the first terminal from the second terminal in response to the voltage at the first terminal belonging to the second predetermined range.

    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel; a collimation film structure and a liquid crystal lens structure sequentially arranged on a light exit side of the display panel; and an eye tracking unit for determining a position of a viewer in front of the liquid crystal lens structure. Specifically, the collimation film structure is configured to collimate light emitted from the display panel to form a collimated light. The liquid crystal lens structure is configured to redirect the collimated light towards the position determined by the eye tracking unit. By determining light emission directions of each sub-pixel in the display panel through eye tracking techniques and enabling the light converged on a position accepted by human eyes, light utilization is effectively improved and power consumption is reduced.

    Abstract: A display device is disclosed. The display device includes a display panel, and a grating layer arranged inside or outside of the display panel. Along a direction pointing from a center of a sight concentration area of the display device to a non-sight concentration area of the display device, a grating period of the grating layer decreases gradually. When incident light incident on the grating layer is diffracted at an area of the grating layer corresponding to the non-sight concentration area of the display device, the obtained light of non-zero order diffraction falls into a sight of a viewer.

    Abstract: A wearable device, a charging device for the wearable device and a charging system are disclosed. The wearable device includes a display module and a battery module, and further includes: an optical signal detection module, which is disposed outside the display module and is configured for detecting ambient light; an optical signal demodulation module, which is configured for demodulating modulated light in the ambient light to obtain demodulated light; a photoelectric conversion module, which is configured for converting the demodulated light into an electrical signal. The battery module can receive the electrical signal, so as to be charged by the electrical signal. Without the need to change the existing habits of users, the wearable device can realize charging with the modulated light during a standby state or during being used indoors. Therefore, the charging efficiency of the wearable device is improved.
