    摘要: An image stabilizer includes a rotor including a lens assembly, and configured to move perpendicular to an optical axis of light passing through the lens assembly, and a suspension unit configured to support movement of the rotor and to prevent the rotor from moving non-perpendicular to the optical axis of the light passing through the lens assembly. Accordingly, the image stabilizer prevents variance of characteristics of a rotor in a low frequency band according to the position and distortion of phase characteristics in a high frequency band. Therefore, the image stabilizer has consistent operation characteristics regardless of the position, posture, and movement of a person using an image capture device containing the image stabilizer.

    摘要: A data reproducing method reproducing data recorded in a super resolution information storage medium in a form of marks having magnitudes less than a resolving power of an incident light beam, and an apparatus thereof. The data reproducing method includes irradiating a first beam having a resolving power causing a super resolution phenomenon and a second beam having a resolving power not causing a super resolution phenomenon into different places on the information storage medium, detecting a first reproduction signal based on the first beam and a second reproduction signal based on the second beam, and compensating for and calculating a temporal delay between the first reproduction signal and the second reproduction signal. Therefore, a signal reflected from a peripheral area of a reproduction beam spot other than a super resolution area can be excluded, thereby improving reproduction signal characteristics.

    摘要: A recording/reproducing apparatus including an optical pickup compatible with a plurality of optical recording media each using light of a different wavelength. The optical pickup includes at least one light source, an objective lens having a function of focusing light emitted from the light source into the optimal light spot on an information recording surface of one of the plurality of the optical recording media, and a light detector to detect light transmitted through the objective lens after being reflected from the information recording surface of the optical recording medium on which the light spot is formed. The objective lens has an inner area, an annular lens area and an outer area such that the annular lens area divides the inner area from the outer area and has a ring shape centered at a vertex. The inner area, the annular lens area and the outer area have aspherical surface shapes to focus light transmitted through the inner area and the outer area into a single light spot by which information can be read from the information recording surface of a relatively thin first optical recording medium and scatter light transmitted through the annular lens area located between the inner area and the outer area so that information cannot be read from the information recording surface of the first optical recording medium, during reproduction of the first optical recording medium. The inner area and the annular lens area transmit light into a single light spot by which information can be read from the information recording surface of a relatively thick second optical recording medium and scatters light transmitted through the outer lens area so that information cannot be read from the information recording surface of the second optical recording medium, during reproduction of the second optical recording medium.

The optical pickup includes a unit for emitting laser light to a recording medium and detecting the light reflected from the recording medium. The first reflective area and the focusing area form a first surface of the catadioptric objective lens while the second reflective area is a part of a second surface of the catadioptric objective lens located in the vicinity of the unit.
