摘要: Data reading and writing apparatuses and data reading and writing methods are provided. In a data reading apparatus or a data writing apparatus, an optical head array including a plurality of laser heads is disposed, so that a quantity of laser heads for reading/writing data is increased. In addition, each laser head is improved, and a plurality of focal points are disposed in the laser head, so that in a data reading/writing process, parallel reading/writing of a plurality of pieces of data may be implemented by using the plurality of laser heads and the plurality of focal points in the laser head, and a data read/write throughput of an optical storage medium may be improved.

摘要: An optical disc drive device includes a spindle motor that rotates an optical disc, an OPU, a first controller that causes the spindle motor and the OPU to read recorded data from the rotating optical disc, and an transmitter that transmits the read recorded data to a signal processing device disposed external to the optical disc drive device. The recorded data transmitted by transmitter is stored in a buffer provided in the signal processing device. The first controller decreases the rotational speed of the optical disc based on free space information indicating the free space of the buffer.

摘要: Proposed are an image reproduction device, an image reproduction method, and a digital holography device, by which the calculation load is reduced and a time required to reproduce an object image from hologram image data is shortened, compared with a conventional technology. An image reproduction device (17) can reproduce an object image or a phase image thereof from hologram image data without performing conventional two-dimensional Fourier transform or two-dimensional inverse Fourier transform. Since no two-dimensional Fourier transform or no two-dimensional inverse Fourier transform is performed, the calculation load can be accordingly reduced, and a time required to reproduce an object image from hologram image data can be accordingly shortened, compared with a conventional technology.

摘要: Upon receiving an erase command for data recorded in a write-once optical disc, an information recording device corrupts data in an information area (synchronization signal in Run-in, frame synchronization signal, address information and the like), in an erased area on the optical disc, in which information necessary for synchronization of reproducing data by overwriting the data in the information area with an erasing pattern. The erased area is specified by an erase starting position and a size of data to be erased. In this way, the information recording device erases the data in the erased area.

摘要: A method for 3D recording of data on a medium formed from a transparent photosensitive material including at least one dopant. The method includes a first step of calibrating and checking a pulsed light source including calibrating the number of pulses, the level of fluence of each pulse emitted and the rate of the pulses and a step of inscribing an area of the material. The fluence of each pulse emitted, the number of pulses and the rate of the pulses are suitable for irradiating the material in the area so as to form fluorescent clusters stabilized from the dopant while minimizing the modification of the refractive index and the absorption coefficient of the medium in a wavelength range from visible to near infrared.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hologram reproducing apparatus and a hologram reproducing method, which are suitable for reproducing hologram. The purpose can be achieved by means of a hologram reproducing apparatus, which reproduces information signals by irradiating an optical information recording medium with reference light, and a hologram reproducing method for the hologram reproducing apparatus. The hologram reproducing apparatus is characterized in being provided with: a polarization conversion section, which converts polarization of diffracted light that is generated when the optical information recording medium is irradiated with the reference light; a light receiving section, which receives the diffracted light having the polarization thereof converted by means of the polarization conversion section; and a servo signal generating circuit section, which generates signals for moving the optical information recording medium or the polarization conversion section using the diffracted light received by means of the light receiving section.

Further, the reproducing device reproduces the encoded data of the first HDR video or the encoded data of the second HDR video on the basis of the details of the first flag and the second flag and performance of a display serving as an output destination. The present technology can be applied to a Blu-ray disc player.
