Abstract:
A method of handling uplink time alignment for a communication device in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises being configured a primary cell and at least a secondary cell by a network of the wireless communication system, transmitting a random access preamble of a random access procedure on the secondary cell when one of the at least a secondary cell is activated, and receiving a random access response including a timing advance command for the secondary cell on the primary cell, the secondary cell, or another one of the at least a secondary cells.
Abstract:
A method of handling measurement capability for a network in a wireless communication system comprising a mobile device capable of communicating with the network through a maximum number of component carriers, the method includes receiving a capability information message indicating a component carrier capability, from the mobile device, and determining whether to configure a measurement gap to at least one of the component carriers, according to the component carrier capability and a first number of component carriers that have been configured to the mobile device.
Abstract:
A method of handling handover message decoding for a mobile device in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes via a first radio access technology (RAT), receiving a handover message associated with a handover from the first RAT to a second RAT supporting services of a packet switched (PS) domain and a circuit switched (CS) domain, wherein the handover message comprises type information and an inter-RAT message generated based on the second RAT, and determining a switched domain type of the inter-RAT message according to the type information.
Abstract:
A method of RLC reconfiguration for a communication device of a wireless communication system includes receiving a dedicated signaling including a reconfiguration value corresponding to a RLC-related parameter when the RLC-related parameter is in-use, and not immediately starting to use the reconfiguration value on the in-use RLC-related parameter when the reconfiguration value is extracted from the dedicated signaling.
Abstract:
A method of handling at least one secondary cell of a mobile device in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The mobile device is managed by a first network of the wireless communication system. The method comprises releasing the at least one secondary cell, after receiving a handover command from the first network, wherein the handover command indicates the mobile device to hand over from the first network to a second network of the wireless communication system; wherein the second network conforms to a 3GPP standard with a version equal to or earlier than the 3GPP Rel-9, and the first network conforms to the 3GPP standard with a version equal to or later than the 3GPP Rel-10.
Abstract:
A method of controlling CSG, known as closed subscriber group, cell selection for a wireless communication system is provided. The wireless communication system includes a network and a user equipment including a whitelist capable of providing a list of accessible CSG cells. The method includes updating the whitelist when the user equipment subscribes to a CSG cell that is not included in the whitelist or does not subscribe to a CSG cell in the whitelist.
Abstract:
A method of packet element transmission for a mobile device of a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes detecting errors of a received protocol data unit, comprising a plurality of control elements and a plurality of service data units, according to order of the plurality of control elements and the plurality of service data units.
Abstract:
A method of managing notification message reception of a user equipment corresponding to natural disaster warning for a wireless communication system includes managing the notification message reception according to a reception property of the notification message reception, configuration information broadcasted or paged by a network of the wireless communication system, or a connection state of the user equipment, where the connection state of the UE includes the connection state of the UE corresponding to radio resource control, to a radio access technology, and to cell selection or cell reselection.
Abstract:
A method of handling radio bearer resumption is illustrated in an exemplary embodiment of the present invention to prevent the transmission stall and the reception on the suspended signaling radio bearer and the suspended data radio bearers. First the wireless communication device receives the connection reconfiguration message including the handover message. Second the wireless communication device determines whether the received connection reconfiguration message including the handover message is the first received connection reconfiguration message including the handover message after a successful completion of a connection re-establishment procedure. Third, the wireless communication device resumes at least one of the suspended signaling radio bearer and the suspended data radio bearers when the received connection reconfiguration message including the handover message is the first received connection reconfiguration message including the handover message after the successful completion of the connection re-establishment procedure.
Abstract:
A method for canceling a cell initiation in radio access technology, hereafter called RAT, change for a mobile device is disclosed. The method comprises initiating a call in a first RAT, receiving a command redirecting the mobile device to a second RAT, moving from the first RAT to the second RAT in response to the command, and canceling the call by aborting a connection establishment to the second RAT before establishing a connection to the second RAT when the mobile device moves to the second RAT.
