    摘要： A wrist-mount blood pressure monitor includes a housing having an anterior leg and a posterior leg rigidly connected together. The anterior leg is opposed and spaced a distance from the posterior leg so that a wrist is allowed to fit in the space between the legs. An inflatable bladder is positioned within the anterior leg of the housing for pressurizing an artery within the wrist. At least one stiffening member can be enclosed within the housing for assuring limited transverse movement between the anterior and posterior legs during pressurization of bladder. A blood pressure monitoring unit is operably connected to the bladder for sensing and calculating blood pressure. An auditory indicator is also provided for audibly outputting instructional information and optionally blood pressure measurement results.

An electrical cord can be electrically connected to the multiple charging devices, and include a plug configured to mate with an electrical outlet to supply electrical power to the charging devices. One or more wheels can be connected to a lower surface of the base.

    摘要： Provided is a flexible and conformal wearable, self-contained medical device. The medical device comprises an integral housing formed by a flexible upper portion and a flexible lower portion joined along their perimeters. The medical device is also provided in a plurality of shapes and configurations for increasing the flexibility and conformability of the housing. The components contained within the housing, such as a drug reservoir, printed circuit board, and power supply are preferably constructed from flexible materials and are formed, connected and positioned according to the configuration of the housing in a manner for enhancing flexibility of the housing. A thermal bubble micropump is provided for controlling flow of a drug from the flexible reservoir, that utilizes a thermal resistor provided locally to a thermal expansion fluid that causes a surrounding membrane to expand and displace a volume of drug to be provided to the user.

    摘要： In accordance with the present invention, an easily openable container includes an elastic member that is connected to the container when the closure is in an open condition. Thus, the elastic member is at rest when the cover closure is open and spring-biases the closure to an open condition. When the closure is closed against the spring-biasing of the elastic material, the elastic member is stretched and held stretched when the closure in the front of the closure is engaged, such as by a snap closure or any other releasable connection. When the locking mechanism is released, the closure pops open by contraction of the elastic member.
