摘要: Among other disclosed subject matter, a computer-implemented method for generating a surface representation of an item includes identifying, for a point on an item in an animation process, at least first and second transformation points corresponding to respective first and second transformations of the point. Each of the first and second transformations represents an influence on a location of the point of respective first and second joints associated with the item. The method includes determining an axis for a cylindrical coordinate system using the first and second transformations. The method includes performing an interpolation of the first and second transformation points in the cylindrical coordinate system to obtain an interpolated point. The method includes recording the interpolated point in a surface representation of the item in the animation process.

摘要: Methods of securing a thermocouple to a ceramic substrate are provided. The thermocouple includes a pair of wires that define a junction, and the method comprises directly bonding the junction of the thermocouple to the ceramic substrate. In one form, the junction is directly bonded using an active brazing material.

摘要: A ceramic heater is provided that includes a thermocouple having a hot or measuring junction in a form of a bead directly bonded to a ceramic substrate by an active brazing material. Alternatively, a metallized layer is provided on the ceramic substrate and the bead of the thermocouple is directly bonded to the metallized layer by an ordinary brazing material. Due to the direct bonding of the bead to a ceramic substrate, the temperature of the bead reflects the temperature of the ceramic heater almost instantaneously so that the thermocouple can more accurately measure the temperature of the ceramic heater.

摘要: A pipeline tester is disclosed that is capable of testing systems-on-a-chip (SOCs) or Devices Under Test (DUTs) in pipeline fashion. The tester provides faster, more economical testing of such SOCs and DUTs, which are loaded sequentially into the tester. A plurality of underlying test stations are disposed in the tester. Above the test stations are disposed corresponding test fixtures which are configured to receive moveable test beds therein. The test beds are mechanically and electrically connected to the underlying test stations. Loaded within each test bed is an SOC or DUT. One or more electrical or electronic tests are performed on each SOC or DUT while the SOC or DUT is loaded in a test bed positioned above a test station. Once the test has been completed, the test bed is moved to another test station, where another electrical or electronic test is performed. Electrical or electronic tests may be performed in parallel on different DUTs or SOCs loaded into different test beds.

摘要: An acetal-based composition useful as a nucleating, gelling, thickening or clarifying agent is disclosed. The composition may be synthesized or provided in many different forms, including multicarbon diacetals formed from carbohydrates. Once synthesized, the compound may be employed as an additive in a plastic composition, such as (for example) a polypropylene copolymer. One structure of such an acetal-based composition is provided by the formula: wherein: n is 0, 1 or 2; Ar1 and Ar2 are independently selected from substituted or unsubstituted aryl-containing groups; and R is selected from the group consisting of: alkenyls, alkyls, alkoxy, hydroxyl alkyls, and alkyl-halides.

摘要: Methods and systems for enhancing the security of data during input and output on a client computer system are provided to prevent attempts by unauthorized code to access, intercept, and/or modify data. Example embodiments provide a plurality of obfuscation techniques and security enhanced drivers that use these obfuscation techniques to prohibit unauthorized viewing/receiving of valid data. When the drivers are used together with the various obfuscation techniques, the security enhanced drivers provide mechanisms for “scheduling” the content of the storage areas used to store the data so that valid data is not available to unauthorized recipients. When unauthorized recipients attempt to access the “data,” they perceive or receive obfuscated data. The obfuscation techniques described include “copy-in,” “replace and restore,” and “in-place replacement” de-obfuscation/re-obfuscation techniques. In one embodiment, a security enhanced display driver, a security enhanced mouse driver, a security enhanced keyboard driver, and a security enhanced audio driver are provided. To complement the security enhancements, the methods and systems also provide for a watchdog mechanism to ensure that the driver is functioning as it should be and various user interface techniques for denoting security on a display device.

摘要: Methods, systems, and computer program products for identifying computer source code constructs are disclosed. According to one method, computer source code is converted to a format suitable for an automated inference engine. The automated inference engine receives as inputs the converted source code, a set of elemental design patterns defining patterns to be identified, and a set of rules defining relationships between patterns. The automated inference engine outputs proofs indicative of patterns present in the source code. The proofs may be converted to a source code pattern report.
