Abstract: An apparatus determines a timing offset of a first carrier and a second carrier. The timing offset is an offset between timing of downlink communication of the first carrier and timing of uplink communication of the second carrier. The first carrier is a carrier using a first radio access technology (RAT), and the second carrier is an uplink frequency division duplex (FDD) carrier using the first RAT and a second RAT. The apparatus sends first indication information to a terminal. The first indication information indicates the timing offset, and the timing offset is used to determine the timing of the second carrier.

Abstract: Embodiments provide an information sending method, an information receiving method, a network device, and a terminal device, to enable the terminal device to determine a correct uplink transmission time, thereby avoiding an uplink transmission failure. For achieving this, a network device determines a first receiving start time and a first sending start time. The first receiving start time is a receiving time at which the network device starts to receive a signal in a first time period, and the first sending start time is a sending time at which the network device starts to send a signal in a second time period. The network device sends indication information to a terminal device to instruct the terminal device to determine a second sending start time. The second sending start time is determined based on the first receiving start time and the first sending start time.

A network device receives a random access signal of a terminal device from the terminal device on a random access resource, where the random access resource is on a first uplink carrier or a second uplink carrier, and the first uplink carrier and the second uplink carrier are corresponding to a same downlink carrier; the network device determines a random access identifier corresponding to the random access resource according to a time-frequency resource sequence number of the random access resource and a carrier identifier of a carrier on which the random access resource is and the network device generates a random access response based on the determined random access identifier, and sends the random access response to the terminal device via the downlink carrier.

Abstract: This application relates to the mobile communications field, and in particular, to a random access technology in a wireless communications system. This application provides a method for sending a random access preamble sequence, an apparatus, and a system. In this solution, a terminal device obtains a cyclic shift value that satisfies a high-speed movement scenario and sends a random access preamble sequence corresponding to the cyclic shift value. Impact brought by the high-speed movement scenario is considered when the random access preamble sequence is determined, thereby avoiding interference between terminal devices in the high-speed scenario.

Abstract: A method includes: sending, by a first terminal device, an HARQ-ACK to a network device based on received HARQ-ACK feedback indication information sent by the network device, where the HARQ-ACK feedback indication information is used to indicate a transmission time interval commonly occupied by at least one terminal device to feed back an HARQ-ACK and proprietary information about an HARQ-ACK fed back by each terminal device, and the at least one terminal device includes the first terminal device. In this technical solution, HARQ-ACK feedback indication information can indicate proprietary information about an HARQ-ACK fed back by a terminal device, thereby reducing a load of an uplink control channel when the terminal device feeds back the HARQ-ACK.
