摘要: A vapor compression refrigerating apparatus comprises a refrigerating cycle for performing a cooling operation of an automotive air conditioning system, a Rankine cycle for collecting waste heat from an engine of a vehicle to generate an electric power by an electric rotating device driven by an expansion device of the Rankine cycle, and a heat pump cycle for generating heat to supply the generated heat to the engine so that a warming up operation of the engine can be facilitated.

摘要: In one embodiment, a paper separation claw is separated from a surface of a pressure roller by a drive source being turned ON at a time t2 before commencement of rotation of the pressure roller, and the paper separation claw is made to contact the surface of the pressure roller by the drive source being turned OFF after commencement of rotation (a time t4) of the pressure roller. Furthermore, the paper separation claw is separated from the surface of the pressure roller by the drive source being turned ON again before stopping of rotation (a time t5) of the pressure roller after an image forming operation of a single job is finished, and the paper separation claw is made to contact the surface of the pressure roller by the drive source being turned OFF again after stopping of rotation (a time t8) of the pressure roller.

摘要: In a refrigerating device comprising waste heat utilization equipment having: a refrigerating cycle 200 formed by sequentially connecting a compressor 210, a condenser 220, an expansion valve 240, and an evaporator 250; and a Rankine cycle 300 formed by sequentially connecting a heater 310 using the waste heat of a heat generating device (for example, an internal combustion engine) 10 as a heating source, an expansion device 320, the above-mentioned condenser 220, and a pump 330, in which the drive shafts of the compressor 210 and the expansion device 320 are separated from each other. Then, the output of the expansion device 320 is used mainly for generating electricity.

摘要: One embodiment of the present invention involves a roller drive control method for a fixing apparatus in which a separation claw for separating a recording paper and a cleaning unit for removing toner that has become residual on a surface of a heat roller are arranged near a surface of the heat roller that fixes toner onto the recording paper, wherein a predetermined period different from a fixing process period in which fixing of toner onto the recording paper is carried out is set as a toner removal period for removing toner that has adhered to the separation claw, and the heat roller is rotationally driven so that the rotation velocity of the heat roller is different in the fixing process period and the toner removal period.

摘要: An optical switch has an input section for inputting a light beam and movable optical members each comprised of a piezoelectric actuator for inputting the light beam from the input section and for individually switching an optical path of the light beam. Each of the piezoelectric actuators has a piezoelectric body for undergoing oscillating movement and a movable body frictionally driven by oscillating movement of the piezoelectric body. A driving control device drives the piezoelectric bodies of the piezoelectric actuators and controls positions of the piezoelectric bodies to switch the optical path of the light beam. An output section outputs the light beam from the piezoelectric actuators.

摘要: When a roller holder attached to a floating chassis of the disk player rotates to raise a carrier roller from a disk non-carrying position to a disk carrying position, a convex portion of the roller holder is engaged with concave portions of the main chassis from above so as to fix the floating chassis to the main chassis in the back and forth directions as well as the right and left directions. The roller holder further rotates about a fulcrum to raise the floating chassis. As a result, the floating chassis is made to abut against another part of the main chassis from below to fix the floating chassis to the main chassis in the vertical direction.

摘要: A low cost portable dosing apparatus enables the dispensing rate to be changed while enabling solution to be continuously dispensed to the body. The solution to be dispensed into the body is stored in a tank unit. A pump unit pumps the solution from the tank unit into the body of the patient. A controller controls pump unit operation. The tank unit, pump unit, and controller are attached to a wrist strap so that they can be easily connected and disconnected from each other. A compact, thin ultrasonic motor with high output per unit size drives the pump unit. A smaller pump unit is thus available, improving the portability of the apparatus. The ultrasonic motor is also substantially free of misoperation resulting from exposure to magnetic fields because the ultrasonic motor is not magnetically driven. Reliability is therefore improved.
