摘要: A method of controlling a transport refrigeration system including a refrigeration unit including a compressor, and a refrigerated compartment operably coupled to the refrigeration unit, and the transport refrigeration system is operable in a standby mode in which the transport refrigeration system is connected to and powered by a mains power source, the method including providing a first compressor speed, wherein the first compressor speed is less than a maximum speed of the compressor of the refrigeration unit; determining when the transport refrigeration system is being operated in the standby mode; determining whether a current time is within a first time period; and when it is determined that the transport refrigeration system is being operated in the standby mode, and when it is determined that the current time is within the first time period: operating the compressor of the refrigeration unit in accordance with the first compressor speed.

摘要: An interface system for connecting a vehicle and a transport climate control system (TCCS) is disclosed. The interface system includes a two-way communication interface that connects a vehicle electrical system (VES) controller and a TCCS controller. The interface system also includes a power interface that connects a vehicle energy source of the VES to the TCCS and a TCCS energy source of the TCCS to the VES. The two-way communication interface is configured to distribute a TCCS status from the TCCS controller to the VES controller, and is configured to distribute a VES status from the VES controller to the TCCS controller. The power interface is configured to distribute power from the vehicle energy source to the TCCS when a VES instruction is received, and distribute power from the TCCS energy source to the VES when a TCCS instruction is received.

摘要: A control method of an air conditioning system for compressor protection includes, when an air conditioner turn-on request is present, determining, by a controller, whether a compressor operating condition is satisfied from a refrigerant state of an air conditioner, when the compressor operating condition is determined as being satisfied, determining, by the controller, whether the vehicle is in a state of being unattended for a long period of time using information collected from a vehicle, when the vehicle is determined as being in a state of being unattended for a long period of time, performing, by the controller, pre-run control for operating the compressor in a predetermined minimum load condition; and when a pre-run operating time for which the compressor is operated in a minimum load condition reaches a predetermined pre-run holding time, interrupting, by the controller, the pre-run control with respect to the compressor.

摘要: An HVAC system includes a compressor, condenser, and evaporator. A sensor measures a value associated with the refrigerant in the condenser or the evaporator, and a controller is communicatively coupled to the compressor and the sensor. The controller determines, based on an operational history the compressor, that pre-requisite criteria are satisfied for entering a sensor validation mode. After determining the pre-requisite criteria are satisfied, an initial sensor measurement value is determined. Following determining the initial sensor measurement value, the compressor is operated according to a sensor-validation mode. Following operating the compressor according to the sensor-validation mode for at least a minimum time, a current sensor measurement value is determined. The controller determines whether validation criteria are satisfied for the current sensor value. In response to determining that the validation criteria are satisfied, the controller determines that the sensor is validated.

The control circuit connects the power supply path in response to the voltage between the capacitor and the inverter circuit being higher than that between the power supply circuit and the drive circuit, and the control circuit disconnects the power supply path in response to the voltage between the capacitor and the inverter circuit being lower than the voltage between the power supply circuit and the drive circuit.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a motor operated compressor, including a housing, a compressor provided in the housing, a motor connected to the compressor to drive the compressor, an inverter coupled to one side of the housing, and connected to the motor unit in an electrically conductive manner. The motor operated compressor includes a hermetic terminal assembly, one side of which extends into the inverter unit, and an opposite side of which extends into the housing. A plurality of busbars have one end of each busbar connected to the opposite side of the hermetic terminal assembly, and the other end of each busbar connected to the motor unit. A first insulating cover portion encloses and seals the hermetic terminal assembly and the plurality of busbars inside the housing, such that a conductive body connecting the motor unit and the inverter unit in the main housing is sealed from refrigerant.

摘要: Systems and methods are directed to providing power to a transport refrigeration system (TRS) using an undersized main power source in combination with a secondary power source. The systems and methods allow the undersized main power source to be used with a TRS that requires a power more than a maximum threshold power of the undersized main power source to operate at a full cooling capacity. The secondary power supplements the undersized main power to allow the TRS to operate at the full cooling capacity. Optionally, a tertiary power source can supplement the undersized main power source, or the undersized main and secondary power sources to run the TRS.

摘要: An air conditioner for a vehicle includes: a compressor that compresses refrigerant for conditioning air in a vehicle cabin and defines a refrigeration cycle; a detecting section that detects a thermal load of air-conditioning in the vehicle cabin; and a control section that controls a rotational speed of the compressor such that the thermal load detected by the detecting section satisfies a predetermined air conditioning request in the vehicle cabin. In case where the air conditioning request is satisfied by controlling the rotational speed of the compressor, the control section periodically switches between a reference rotational speed and a low rotational speed that is lower than the reference rotational speed in order to maintain a state where the air conditioning request is satisfied. The reference rotational speed is a rotational speed within a predetermined range that includes the rotational speed at which the air conditioning request is satisfied.
