Abstract: This application provides a data route selection method and apparatus, and relates to the field of communications technologies, so as to resolve a problem of an excessively long transmission delay for an application program that initiates a data transmission request relatively later. The data route selection method includes: detecting, by a terminal, that information about an application matches a traffic descriptor; determining, by the terminal, a first route selection components for the application; and routing, by the terminal, traffic of the application on a first protocol data unit PDU session. The first PDU session matches the first route selection components. This application is applicable to a terminal.

Abstract: A protocol data unit (PDU) type setting method, a user equipment (UE) policy setting method, and a related entity, where the PDU type setting method includes: setting, by UE, a requested PDU type of a PDU session in a process of establishing the PDU session, where the requested PDU type of the PDU session is set by the UE based on a first condition, the first condition includes an Internet Protocol (IP) version corresponding to an application, and the application is associated with the PDU session. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the requested PDU type of the PDU session can be consistent with a PDU type requested by the application, such that the application can normally perform communication.

Abstract: A session establishment method includes receiving, by a mobility management function AMF entity, a first message sent by user equipment UE, where the first message carries identifier information, the identifier information is used to instruct the AMF entity to send the first message to a session management function SMF entity, and the first message is used to instruct the SMF entity to re-establish a session with the UE based on the identifier information by using a first user plane function UPF entity; and sending, by the AMF entity based on the identifier information, the first message to the SMF entity associated with the identifier information.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a ProSe information transmission method, a terminal, and a communications device. The method includes: acquiring, by a second terminal, a fourth code word broadcast by a first terminal, where the fourth code word is a code word that is allocated to the first terminal by a first ProSe entity; sending, by the second terminal, a first message to a second ProSe entity when the fourth code word matches a prestored code word, where the first message carries the fourth code word and a first application identity; receiving, by the second terminal, a second message sent by the second ProSe entity, where the second message carries a second identity; and discovering, by the second terminal, a first application user according to the second identity. Abstract: A method and an apparatus for signal synchronization are disclosed. The method for signal synchronization includes: A self-synchronizing first terminal device broadcasts first synchronization information, determines whether the first terminal device and a second terminal device have implemented signal synchronization when receiving second synchronization information sent by the second terminal device, and determines, based on a determining result, whether to synchronize with the second terminal device. This reduces a probability of communication interruption caused by synchronization source switching by the first terminal device after the second terminal device performs synchronization by using the first terminal device as a synchronization source. The method for signal synchronization may be applied to scenarios such as the intelligent driving, intelligent connected vehicles, and internet of vehicles.

Abstract: A method for a protocol data unit (PDU) session includes a step of a first core network device obtaining a first message from a first server. The first core network device generates a first parameter based on the first message. A terminal device obtains a measurement result based on the first parameter and sends the measurement result to the first core network device. The first core network device obtains a second parameter based on the measurement result, and the second core network device configures the second parameter to dynamically adjust the PDU session based on location or time information with reference to the second parameter.
