The present invention provides a precise location-based information service method and apparatus for mobile terminal browser users. The method includes: acquiring at least two types of positioning references based upon a positioning service request from a user; establishing correlation relationships among the positioning references based on the acquired positioning references; and performing integrated positioning and cross-validation on a precise location of the user based on the correlation relationships to determine final positioning service information. This invention can implement precise location-based services (LBS) and precise Point of Interest (POI) push service by analysis and extraction of the user's location information and behavioral data acquired and accumulated with the user's consent. This satisfies the needs of the mobile phone browser user for precise LBS and personalized nearby information service.

The present invention provides an information distribution method based on geographical location information of a mobile terminal. The method includes obtaining current geographical location information of the mobile terminal; based on an acquiring mode used to obtain the current geographical location information, determining a positioning accuracy of the mobile terminal's current geographical location information; based on the determined positioning accuracy, determining a distribution mode used to distribute information to the mobile terminal, wherein the distribution mode includes a location-based distribution mode and the combination mode of location-based distribution and relation-based distribution; and distributing information to the mobile terminal using the determined distribution mode.This method may be used to accurately distribute to the mobile terminal user the information related to the nearby Points of Interest (POIs) within a predetermined distance range from the current geographical location of the mobile terminal or related to the similar POIs having the same type of the current POI of the mobile terminal user, such as coupons, advertisement information, and/or POI characteristic information.

The present invention discloses a method and system for implementing a three-dimension positioning. The method comprises: receiving, by an optical sensor, infrared rays emitted from an infrared reference light source; and determining a position of the optical sensor with respect to the infrared reference light source based on attributes of the infrared reference light source in images obtained by the optical sensor, so as to implement a three-dimension relative positioning of the optical sensor. The method and system determine the position of the optical sensor with respect to the infrared reference light source by means of the attributes of the infrared reference light source in the images, which are simple in implementation, of a relatively low cost and can provide an excellent positioning function for application contexts of relative positioning (such as immersive video), which greatly improves the experience of a user.

A method and apparatus is provided for managing communications using a mobile device. More specifically, the present invention allows the mobile device to transfer a communication session from one network path to another network path. The user of the mobile device, therefore, has control over “network choice” instead of the network operators or handset providers. In addition, the present invention allows the mobile device to manage an association with one or more wireless network access points. With respect to access point management, the present invention provides a “fast scan” or “short scan” process to reduce the scanning time during active communication sessions to a level that is not detectable by the user. As a result, the present invention is more efficient, reduces power consumption, increases call quality and increases user acceptance of the device.

On the transmit side, a device (10) includes a plurality of message sources (8A, 8B, 8C) and a smart router (12) function executed by a processor (30) within the device. The smart router (12) function allocates each wireless transmission, or components of a multicomponent wireless transmission, over a licensed wireless link (LLTX) or an unlicensed wireless link (ULTX), by optimizing various factors. The allocation factors include the availability of the unlicensed and licensed channels within range of the transmitting device (10); quality of service parameters such as time delay limits, jitter limits, bandwidth requirements, and the like; cost tolerance and cost per minute factors; power consumption expectations; and a combination of these and other factors. Transmission of the wireless message over the selected wireless links is then carried out. A receiving device (20) may include a smart receiver (22) that resequences the components of a multicomponent transmission for forwarding to output functions (24A, 24B, 24C) of the receiving device (20).
