    摘要: A stacked piezoelectric device, which is inexpensive and excellent in electric transmission efficiency and little deterioration of strength of an internal electrode layer, is provided by having an internal electrode layer containing not less than 50 percent by weight of Cu element, and not more than 5 percent of a pore occurrence expressed by (B/A)×100 (%) wherein A is an area of an interface between the internal electrode layer and the piezoelectric layer and B is a sum of areas of pores which appear in the interface and have a diameter of not less than 0.1 micrometers. Preferably, a surface roughness Ra of the interface of the piezoelectric layer contacting the internal electrode layer is not more than 0.5 C (μm) wherein C is a thickness of the internal electrode layer in micrometers. The piezoelectric material constituting the piezoelectric layer preferably comprises PZT which is a Pb(Zr,Ti)O3-based oxide having a perovskite structure.

    摘要: In the present invention, two ultrasonic receivers are provided in common for plural input planes, and the plural input planes are restricted to a plane not perpendicular to a line connecting the two ultrasonic receivers, so that the sufficiently practicable coordinate input device can be provided. When the line connecting two ultrasonic receivers is perpendicular to the input plane, the distances from the input device to the two ultrasonic receivers exist in plural sets, so that the coordinates of an input device cannot be specified. Furthermore, in order to acquire the coordinates of the input device by the two ultrasonic receivers, a positional relations between the two ultrasonic receivers and the input planes are made initial setting in advance. When set in advance, it is possible to acquire the position of the input devices in the plural input planes from the distance from input device to two ultrasonic receivers.

The compression mechanism is made up of, for example, a bolt and a nut which add a given compressive stress to a transformer body in a lengthwise direction thereof for absorbing a tensile stress arising from oscillations of the transformer body during operation, thereby allowing output energy from the transformer to be increased. In a modified form, a weight block is mounted on an end of the transformer body to increase the range of the output energy.

    摘要: It is an object of this invention to provide an electron generating apparatus which is hardly influenced by variations in driving voltage, an image forming apparatus using the electron generating apparatus, and a method of manufacturing and adjusting the same. The row wiring layers of a multi-electron-beam source (300) are sequentially selectively switched by a control circuit (302) and applied with a pulse voltage having a value about 1.05 to 1.5 times the maximum value of a normal driving voltage from a DC voltage source (301). The characteristics of all surface conduction electron-emitting devices of the multi-electron-beam source (300) are shifted to the high potential side. With this process, even when the driving voltage becomes high due to superposition of noise and the driving voltage, variations in electron-emitting characteristics caused by the voltage shift characteristics of the surface conduction electron-emitting devices can be prevented.

    摘要: PZT piezoelectric ceramics for forming a piezoelectric transformer includes a main composition consisting of Pb [Zr.sub.A Ti.sub.B (Zn.sub.1/3 Nb.sub.2/3).sub.c (Mn.sub.1/2 W.sub.1/2).sub.D ]O.sub.3. When A/B is in a range of 0.92-1.13, C is 0 or larger, D is in a range of 0.02-0.08 and total of A, B, C and D is 1, the piezoelectric transformer is fired at 1,100.degree. C. or lower, while having relatively high voltage rising ratio and efficiency. Therefore, a relatively low-priced Ag--Pd electrode having heat resistance of approximately 1,100.degree. C. can be used as an inside electrode of a laminated-type transformer. Thus, production cost of the piezoelectric transformer is reduced while the transformer has relatively high voltage rising ratio and efficiency.

    摘要: Several heater patterns are printed on a ceramic green sheet for substrates, and the ceramic green sheet is laminated with a ceramic green sheet for cover plates, thereby forming a lamination body. Then, the lamination body is cut so that it is divided into several intermediate bodies, each of which holds a corresponding one of the heater patterns therein and has a side surface on which a terminal portion of the heater pattern is exposed. Then, the intermediate body is baked. As a result, a ceramic heater composed of a heater substrate holding the heater pattern and a cover plate disposed on the heater substrate to cover the heater pattern can be provided without any micro-cracks therein.

    摘要: The fitting for the present invention comprises a fitting main body and a retaining ring, in which the fitting main body comprises an inner core having a plurality of large diameter portions form on the outer circumferetial surface and a flange and having a hole disposed to the circumferential surface of the retaining ring for attracting the retaining ring put over the top end of the plastic pipe to the flange; and the retaining ring, upon attracting operation applied thereto, moves the plastic pipe to the flange accompanying the retaining ring to insert the inner core relatively to the top end of the plastic pipe. The inner core diametrically enlarges the top end portion of the plastic pipe and compresses the top end portion in cooperation with the retaining ring. Therefore, the said fitting can simply and reliably connect the plastic pipe.

    摘要: A bidirectional constant current driving circuit is connected between the positive and negative terminals of a power supply. This drive circuit has an input terminal and an output terminal with a load coupled to the output terminal, and with the current supplied thereto being controlled to vary in either a positive or a negative electrical direction. The inventive driving circuit has four transistors . A first and second of these transistors have a first electrode connected to the first power supply terminal. The second transistor has second and third electrodes connected to a second electrode of the first transistor. A third and fourth of these transistors have a first electrode connected to the second power supply terminal. The fourth of these transistors has second and third electrodes connected to a second electrode of the third transistor. First and second resistors are serially connected between the third electrodes of the second and fourth transistors. The junction of the first and second resistors are connected to the input terminal. The third electrodes of the first and third transistors are coupled to the output terminal.
