    摘要: A slant plate type compressor with a capacity or displacement adjusting mechanism is disclosed. The compressor includes a housing having a cylinder block provided with a plurality of cylinders and a crank chamber. A piston is slidably fitted within each of the cylinders and is reciprocated by a drive mechanism which includes a member having a surface with an adjustable incline angle. The incline angle is controlled by the pressure situation in the crank chamber. The pressure in crank chamber is controlled by control mechanism which comprises a passageway communicating between the crank chamber and a suction chamber and valve device to control the closing and opening of the passageway. The valve device includes a valve element which directly controls the closing and opening of passageway, a first valve control device which controls operation of the valve element in response to pressure in the suction chamber, and a second valve control device which controls a predetermined operating point of the first valve control device. The operation of the second valve control device is controlled in response to changes in conditions external of the compressor.

    摘要: A variable displacement type compressor is disclosed. The compressor includes a housing having fluid inlet and fluid outlet ports. A fixed scroll is fixed within the housing and has a circular end plate from which a first spiral element extends. The end plate of the fixed scroll partitions the inner chamber of the compressor housing into a front chamber connected to the fluid inlet port and a rear chamber. The rear chamber is divided into a discharge chamber connected to the fluid outlet port and an intermediate pressure chamber. The end plate of the fixed scroll has at least two holes which connect the fluid pockets to the intermediate pressure chamber. The end plate also has a communicating channel which connects the front chamber to the intermediate chamber. A control device controls the communication between the front chamber and intermediate pressure chamber. The control device is disposed on the intermediate pressure chamber, and a valve element of the control means is operated by pressure from the discharge chamber.

    摘要: A scroll type compressor is disclosed which includes a housing with an inner chamber and fluid inlet and outlet ports connected to the inner chamber. A fixed scroll, which is mounted within the housing, has a circular end plate from which a first spiral wrap extends. An orbiting scroll also is mounted within the housing for orbital motion with respect to the fixed scroll. The orbiting scroll has a circular end plate from which a second spiral wrap extends; the first and second wraps interfit to define at least one pair of sealed off fluid pockets. The end plate of the fixed scroll partitions the inner chamber of the housing into a suction chamber and rear chamber. The rear chamber is divided into a discharge chamber and an intermediate pressure chamber. The circular end plate of the fixed scroll has at least one pair of holes symmetrically positioned to connect the sealed off fluid pockets to the intermediate pressure chamber. A control mechanism selectively controls fluid communication between the suction chamber and the intermediate pressure chamber to adjust the volume displacement and compression ratio of the scroll type compressor. This control mechanism also controls the resistance of the scroll type compressor to suction in conjunction with the control of fluid communication between the suction and intermediate chambers in order to maximize the amount of adjustment of the volume displacement and compression ratio.

    摘要: A reciprocating piston type refrigerant compressor includes a compressor housing having a cylinder block provided with a plurality of cylinders and crank chamber adjacent the cylinder block. A piston slides within each of cylinders and is reciprocated by a wobble plate driven by a cam rotor mounted on a drive shaft. The cam rotor comprises a rotor plate fixed on an inner terminal end of a drive shaft and slant plate with a sloping surface in close proximity to the wobble plate. The slant plate is hinged to the rotor plate for adjusting the slant angle thereof in response to change of pressure in the crank chamber. The pressure in the crank chamber is controlled by controlling communication between the crank chamber and the suction chamber. The wobble plate is supported for a nutational motion on a ball element which is disposed on supporting element slidably carried in the cylinder block to maintain the wobbling center thereof on the center of the ball element.

    摘要: A scroll type fluid displacement apparatus is disclosed in which a pair of scrolls interfit at an angular and radial offset, each scroll including a circular end plate and a spiral element. The axial end surface of each spiral element has a groove along its spiral curve and a seal element is fitted in the groove to seal off fluid pockets. A plurality of projections are formed in the bottom surface of the groove at a predetermined spacing. Then, when the scrolls are assembled in their interfitting positions, the seal element is partly compressed and deformed by the projections and the opposing circular end plate so that the seal element maintains contact with the facing end plate of the opposing scroll without the use of any axial force urging device.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for adjusting the angular relationship between the scroll elements of a scroll type fluid displacement apparatus are disclosed. Holes are provided in the front end plate of the apparatus housing and the end plate of the orbiting scroll member. An adjusting member is inserted through these holes and is received in a bore provided in the fixed scroll member. The front end plate then is rotated in the reverse direction (opposite the drive direction) of the apparatus until its movement is stopped. The apparatus drive shaft then is rotated in the drive direction in order to establish the proper angular relationship between the scroll members. While the drive shaft is being rotated, the front end plate is secured to the housing in order to maintain the desired angular relationship.

    摘要: A scroll type compressor is disclosed. The compressor includes a housing having a fluid inlet port and an outlet port. A fixed scroll is fixed within the housing and has a circular end plate from which a first wrap extends. The end plate of the fixed scroll partitions the inner chamber of the housing into a front chamber connected to the fluid inlet port and a rear chamber. The rear chamber is divided into a central chamber connected to the fluid outlet port and an outer chamber. An orbiting scroll, which is disposed in the front chamber, also has a circular end plate from which a second wrap extends. Both wraps interfit at angular and radial offsets to form a plurality of line contacts to define at least one pair of sealed off fluid pockets. The end plate of the fixed scroll has at least two holes which are placed at symmetrical position and connect the fluid pockets to the outer chamber. The end plate also has a communicating hole which connects the first chamber and the outer chamber. Valve members are disposed in the outer chamber for opening and closing each hole. A control mechanism which is disposed in the outer chamber controls the operation of the valve members.

    摘要: A fluid displacement apparatus, in particular, a compressor unit, is disclosed. The apparatus includes a housing having a front end plate member and a fixed member and an orbiting piston member. The members interfit to make a plurality of line contacts to define at least one pair of sealed off fluid pocket. A driving mechanism, including a drive shaft is disposed within the housing and is connected to the orbiting piston member to effect the orbital motion of the orbiting piston member by the rotation of the drive shaft. The front end plate member is comprised of a front end plate portion in which is formed an opening for passage of the drive shaft, and an annular sleeve portion extending from a front end surface of the front end plate portion for surrounding the drive shaft. The drive shaft is rotatably supported by two bearing means which are disposed within the front end plate member. A shaft seal assembly is assembled on the drive shaft within the front end plate member and is placed between the two bearing means. Therefore, the load of the two bearing means is reduced without increasing the length of the housing.
