摘要: A method and system for time synchronization in a mobile device are disclosed. The method includes negotiating a synchronization schedule. The synchronization schedule defines a plurality of synchronization times for receiving synchronization messages. The method further includes transitioning the mobile device from a first state to a second state to receive a synchronization message. The mobile device uses less power in the first state than the second state and the mobile device cannot receive the synchronization message when in the first state. The method further includes synchronizing a clock component in response to receiving the synchronization message.

摘要: A method and devices are provided for adapting the transmission power level of a mobile terminal during a handover phase at which the mobile terminal switches from one base station to another. The method provided comprises applying values of operating parameters that characterize both base stations and adapting the transmission power level to an acceptable level at which communications transmitted from the terminal to the second station would be properly received without applying further increase in the transmission power while ensuring that the communications transmitted by the mobile terminal to the second base station, will not cause severe interference to communications exchanged between the second base station and the other terminals communicating therewith.

摘要: There is provided a method and devices for dynamically controlling transmission of communications in a wireless network, which comprises a managing entity and a managed entity that communicate which each other. The managed entity transmits updating information that includes indications of current resources available thereat and/or indications that relate to the reception of communications transmitted by the managing entity. A reporting rate for transmitting the updating information by the managed entity to the managing entity is then determined, and based on the reporting rate that has been determined—modifying, if required, parameters associated with the wireless link extending between the two entities so as to affect changes in the operating conditions at one or both of these entities.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, computer readable media for coordinated transmission among virtual access points (VAPs). An apparatus of a wireless device comprising processing circuitry is disclosed. The processing circuitry is configured to determine to share a multi-station uplink (UL) and/or downlink (DL) transmission opportunity (TXOP) with two stations that are associated with two virtual access points (VAPs), where each of the two stations is associated with one of the two VAPs. The processing circuitry further configured to determine UL resource allocations for the two stations for a trigger frame based on information received from the two VAPs, and to encode the trigger frame for the multi-station UL TXOP, the trigger frame comprising a common VAP identification (ID) of the two VAPs, UL resource allocations for the two stations, and multi-basic service set (M-BSS) identifications (IDs) for each of the two stations.

摘要: Embodiments of an access point (AP), station (STA) and method for uplink sounding are generally described herein. The AP may transmit an uplink (UL) sounding trigger frame (TF) that indicates a request to receive UL sounding elements from a group of one or more stations (STAs). The AP may receive UL sounding elements from the STAs in accordance with UL multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) reception. The AP may also receive, from at least a portion of the STAs, UL sounding feedback that includes one or more UL sounding transmission parameters used by the portion of the STAs for UL sounding element transmissions. The UL sounding TF may further indicate the portion of the STAs that are to transmit the UL sounding feedback.

摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and computer readable media are disclosed for fragmentation of media access control service data units (MSDU) in a high-efficiency wireless local-area network. An apparatus of a access point or station comprising memory and processing circuitry coupled to the memory is disclosed. The processing circuitry is configured to fragment a media access control (MAC) service data unit (MSDU) into two or more MSDU fragments, and encapsulate the two or more MSDU fragments into two or more aggregated MSDUs (A-MSDUs); one or more A-MSDUs and one or more MAC protocol data units (MPDUs); or, two or more MPDUs. The processing circuitry may be further configured to encode a delimiter in front of a first fragment of the two or more MSDU fragments, where the delimiter indicates a length of the two or more MSDU fragments, and to encode each MPDU to comprise a sequence number.
