    Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE transmits first RF signals at Nt1 antennas on first time-frequency resources. The first RF signals carries a first set of reference signals of L1 antenna ports. Nt1 and L1 are positive integers. L1 are not greater than Nt1. The UE transmits second RF signals at Nt2 antennas on second time-frequency resources. The second RF signals carries a second set of reference signals of L2 antenna ports. Nt2 and L2 are positive integers. L2 are not greater than Nt2. The UE transmits, at the Nt1 antennas and the Nt2 antennas, third RF signals on the first time-frequency resources and fourth RF signals on the second time-frequency resources. The third RF signals and the fourth RF signals carries L layers of data. L are not greater than a sum of L1 and L2.

    Abstract: In one novel aspect, configurations for PDCCH transmission and reception with multiple transmission points are provided. The UE configures a PDCCH associated with a CORSET comprising multiple CCEs, partitions the CORSET into multiple TCI-state sets, wherein each TCI state set includes multiple CCE groups associated with corresponding TCI-state, which corresponds to a source TRP, activates one TCI state set, and receives DCI via the PDCCH, wherein the PDCCH is transmitted from at least the first source TRP and the second source TRP, and wherein each source TRP transmits corresponding portion of DCI data mapping to the corresponding first and second CCE group. The CORSET is partitioned in FDM or TDM way. In another novel aspect, a first and a second PDCCH associated with a first and a second TRP are configured for repetition transmission. The second PDCCH configuration is dependent upon the first PDCCH configuration.

The UE determines that the UE possesses T processing units for calculation of channel state information (CSI) reports. The UE transmits, to a base station, an indication indicating the T processing units. The UE receives, from the base station, a trigger for updating or providing M CSI reports. The UE determines that P processing units of the T processing units are available for calculation of CSI reports. The UE updates or provides N CSI reports. N is an integer smaller than or equal to M and allows processing units assigned for calculation of the N CSI reports to be smaller than or equal to the P processing units.

    Abstract: Various examples with respect to frequency-selective precoding for uplink (UL) transmissions in mobile communications are described. A processor of a user equipment (UE) receives signaling from a network node of a wireless network. The processor then performs a codebook-based UL transmission to the network node with frequency-selective precoding in a subband of a plurality of subbands according to the signaling received from the network. For non-codebook-based UL transmissions, the processor performs a non-codebook-based UL transmission of a beamformed sounding reference signal (SRS) to the network node by determining a precoder and performing frequency-selective precoding on the SRS using the precoder with a size of precoder bundling for the frequency-selective precoding in a frequency domain known by the network node.
