When a portable transceiver enters the large area and returns a response ID in reply to the large area ID request signal back to the controller of the vehicle, the controller then forms a plurality of small areas in which a small area ID request signal for detailed detection can be received. When it is confirmed that the portable transceiver entered any of the small areas, the controller unlocks the vehicle door associated with that small area, allowing the user to enter the vehicle.

The second recess frees the bushing from the pushing during rotation of the plate cam and disables power transmission between the open/close mechanism and the projection/retraction mechanism when the slide door is outside the range of the predetermined open/close position.
