摘要: The connector for a flexible board is equipped with a housing, a plurality of contacts, and a cover. The plurality of contacts are placed so that their contact parts are in two rows along opposing inner wall surfaces of an insertion concavity of the housing. By inserting a pressure-applying part of the cover into the insertion concavity, a flexible printed circuit board (FPC), which has been guided between the cover and the insertion concavity, is pushed in and deformed and held sandwiched between the cover and the insertion concavity, and each contact part of the FPC comes into contact with the contact part of the corresponding contact. The number of contacts capable of being housed within the connector is increased two-fold from that of prior art connectors and the number of contact parts in the flexible board is increased two-fold. Furthermore, operation of the connector is easier.

摘要: A connection structure for a camera module with an auto-focus feature and a module connector that eliminates the need for wires and FPCs for connection between motor signal terminals and a printed circuit substrate, as well as the need for solder connection operations is also eliminated. A camera module with an auto-focus feature is equipped with a module base on which is disposed a camera signal contact terminal, and a main module unit on which is disposed a motor signal terminal extending from a side surface. A module connector includes an installation cavity for installing the camera module. A motor signal contact is disposed on the module connector, and the motor signal terminals are formed with a contact, which comes into contact with contacts of the motor signal contact when the camera module is installed in the installation cavity.

摘要: A zero insertion force connector, typically used for connecting a flexible printed circuit (FPC) or a flexible flat cable (FFC) to a printed circuit board, is made up of an insertion aperture formed on one side of a housing, a pressure plate insertion aperture formed on a different side of the housing, a pressure plate, and a sigmoid contact member. When the pressure plate is inserted into the pressure plate insertion aperture, a finger piece of the sigmoid contact member resiliently changes position, and a tongue piece of the sigmoid contact member makes electrical contact with an inserted FPC or FFC. Since the tongue piece of the sigmoid contact member is arranged so that the tongue piece does not come into contact with the FPC or FFC unless the pressure plate is inserted, there is no requirement to force the FPC or FFC into the insertion aperture.

摘要: A processing pipeline is disclosed for use with a computer having a vector register. The processing pipeline processes a logical expression including binary operand elements and operator elements successively supplied from the vector register, and stores resulting data into the vector register. The processing pipeline includes a first pushdown stack, coupled to the vector register to receive binary operand elements of the logical expression; a second pushdown stack, coupled to said vector register to receive operator elements of the logical expression; a character register to temporarily store an operator element of the logical expression during processing; and a processor for processing the logical expression, including an error detector for detecting errors in the logical expression based on a relationship between a first operator element in the character register and a second operator element at a top of the second pushdown stack.

摘要: A device for connecting a catheter to an injection tube, which is provided with an elastic tube into which an open end of the tubular catheter having electrodes disposed at the closed end thereof and also having conductive wires connected to said electrodes and taken out at the open end thereof and an open end of the injection tube having a mechanism for fluid injection at the other end thereof are inserted so that both open ends are connected end-to-end and the conductive wires are taken out through a gap between the elastic tube and the injection tube; and a sealing agent to cover respective surfaces of the catheter, injection tube, and elastic tube which surfaces are coated with an adhesive. The catheter, injection tube, and elastic tube, when coated with an adhesive of high viscosity, are compatible with the hard sealing agent lying thereabove. A casing consisting of half members encloses the sealing agent and the casing increases the strength of the device, whereby the device is prevented from being deformed and prevented from causing leakage of fluid through the gap even when subjected to external force. The device has improved resistance to external pressure. In addition, connection of the conductive wires between the electrodes and the terminals arranged on the side of the casing serves to tightly fix the wires in the sealing agent packed in the case and causes no breakage of the wires, whereby the wires are connected to the external parts through the terminals to thereby provide a device with improved reliability.

摘要: A method of and apparatus for dewatering a substance which is to be dewatered such as sludge wherein the substance to be dewatered is pressed between a pair of rollers (11, 212) or plate-shaped press members (331) each having its press surface formed from a rigid porous material (6, C, 331) having water absorption and retention properties based on the capillary action; water squeezed from the substance by pressing is permeated into the rigid porous material due to water absorption based on the capillary action or water pressure and the permeated water is retained by virtue of the water retention properties based on the capillary action, thereby dewatering the substance; and the water retained by the rigid porous material is discharged by sending pressurized air to regenerate the capillary tubes.
