摘要: A method of printing a document using one of a plurality of print modes, the method comprising: (i) notionally dividing a digital image of the document into sectors; (ii) for each sector, comparing one or more properties of the luminosity of pixels within each sector with one or more threshold values; (iii) using the comparison of (ii) to determine whether each sector is likely to show an image defect if printed at a lower image quality print mode; (iv) selecting a print mode such that all sectors are determined not to be likely to show an image defect; (v) printing the document using the determined print mode.

摘要: Among various embodiments of the present disclosure, systems and methods for diagnosing printhead status are shown. The printhead status can be diagnosed by detecting which of a number of nozzles in a first printhead fire ink; and printing with visible ink a diagnostic plot using a second printhead that maps which nozzles fire ink in the first printhead. The number of nozzles in the first printhead which fire ink is determined by visually identifying the nozzles that fire ink in the second printhead as indicated by the placement of the visible ink on the diagnostic plot.

摘要: Images selected for printing are assigned respective print-speed modes so that at least first and second of said images are assigned to a relatively fast print mode and at least a third image is assigned to a relatively slow print mode. The images are arranged as a function of print-speed mode so that said first and second images are in a first row and so that said third is in a second row. The images are then printed on real print media, with the first row being printed using a relatively fast print speed and the second row being printed at a relatively slow print speed.

摘要: The tooth and adaptor for dredging machines object of the present invention relates to a tooth or wear member which, attached to an adaptor or adaptor member, creates an assembly the purpose of which is to deepen and clean the beds of ports, rivers, channels, etc., removing therefrom sludge, stones, sand, etc., the adaptors being attached to the blades of the propellers and thus forming the cutter head of the dredging machine. The constructive features of the coupling between the tooth and the tooth bar or adaptor allow making better use of the cutting material of the tooth and a simple and quick replacement thereof in the adaptor, between other advantages.

摘要: A roll-based printer and method of loading the same. An example method includes sliding a roll of print media onto a print media spindle so that the roll of print media is positioned closer to a first end of the print media spindle than a second end of the print media spindle and loading the spindle onto a supporting assembly so that the spindle is rotatably supported by the supporting assembly and the first end of the print media spindle is at the end of the printer which is opposite to an end of the printer having a media detecting unit for detecting the presence of print media being fed to the printer. The example method includes feeding the print media to the printer from the loaded spindle, detecting the position of an edge of the print media fed to the printer and adjusting a starting position of the print head based on the detected position of an edge of the print media.

摘要: Detachable fastening system between a male piece (2) and a female piece (1), pin (3) and female piece (1), specifically for use in machines for moving earth and stones. It is formed by a tooth (2) with a transverse aperture, a tooth holder (2) with another transverse aperture, a pin with an intermediate nipple, and an elastic tensor (4) located in a complementary cavity of the tooth holder (2). The penetration and subsequent rotation of the pin (3) immobilizes it axially, as it is held in said angular position by the action of the tensor (4). In addition, the pin (3) has at one end a projection that interacts with a groove ramped helicoidally and fitted in the aperture of the tooth in order to absorb the axial forces, by unloading the tensor (4) thereof, and also in order to limit the angular distance travelled by the pin between the blocking and unblocking positions, and in order to facilitate possible extraction thereof.
