    摘要: A navigation system utilizing a paging channel of a mobile communication service for a navigation apparatus including a mobile communication function is disclosed, which comprises: a BSC-based traffic server for periodically extracting/synthesizing traffic information in an area of a BSC, and then transmitting the traffic information of a peripheral area including the BSC; and a BSC for inserting the traffic information received from the BSC-based traffic server into the paging channel for a mobile communication terminal, and then transmitting it. In the navigation system, traffic conditions information in a corresponding area is transmitted by means of a paging channel, thereby utilizing real time traffic information while maintaining the architecture of the existing mobile communication network without an additional apparatus and communication cost.

    摘要: An apparatus for providing a telematics service including an AGPS function. An initial position measuring time of a telematics system is shortened due to the AGPS function of the telematics service, so the telematics service is rapidly provided to a user. Because the telematics system utilizes satellite ephemeris information and user position information, a reception sensitivity of a GPS signal is improved in a downtown area, in which the GPS signal is attenuated. The telematics system includes an AGPS information processing module for rapidly providing the telematics service to the user.

    摘要: A PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) network system and connection method thereof. The connection method includes the steps of: if a connection attempt is made, transmitting a PADI (PPPoE Active Discovery Initiation) packet to a plurality of servers by performing a discovery stage; after transmitting the PADI packet, deciding whether a packet being transmitted from a server is transmitted in a session packet in a PPP session stage or a PADO (PPPoE Active Discovery Offer) packet; and if the packet being transmitted from the server is the session packet, terminating connection between a client and an already-connected server by performing a discovery stage for terminating the connection, and then reestablishing the connection by performing a discovery stage for connection. Therefore, even though the connection between the client and the server is unproperly disconnected due to errors on the client side, the connection can be reestablished faster and more effectively.
