Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, device and computer readable storage media for optimizing buffer state report (BSR) for limited traffic mix. In example embodiments, whether a short or long B SR being reported is up to the configuration of LCG or the configuration of LCH within the LCG. In this way, minimum overhead for low bit rate services can be kept and thus a good coverage can be achieved, while the reporting information can be increased for other traffic.

Abstract: There is provided a method at a first network node, comprising: receiving, from a second network node, a message comprising a requested quality of service (QoS) profile and one or more alternative QoS profiles, wherein the QoS profiles are associated with a communication with a user equipment; determining that the requested QoS profile cannot be provided by the first network node for a communication between the first network node and the user equipment; determining that at least one of the one or more alternative QoS profiles can be provided by the first network node for a communication between the first network node and the user equipment; transmitting, to the second network node, an indication that an alternative QoS profile can be provided by the first network node; and, transmitting, to the second network node, an indication for configuring the user equipment based on the requested QoS profile.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided in a communications device. The apparatus comprises at least one processor and at least one memory including computer code for one or more programs. The at least one memory and the computer code are configured, with the at least one processor, to cause the apparatus to determine that at least one of a plurality of logical channels configured for packet duplication is to be deactivated; and determine an allocation of one or more cells associated with the at least one deactivated logical channel to one or more active logical channels of said plurality of logical channels configured for packet duplication.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for mobility between networks. In some example embodiments, there may be provided a method. The method may include receiving, at a source base station, a single end marker indication for a flow associated with a user equipment being handed over to a target base station; determining, by the source base station and in response to the received single end marker indication, at least one bearer mapped to the flow; generating for each determined bearer, at least one end of marker indication; and sending, over a forwarding path from the source base station to the target base station, the generated at least one end of marker indication. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Abstract: A method including transmitting signals from a first base station to a second base station in a network; and during an interface setup or an interface update between the first base station and the second base station, receiving by the first base station information regarding at least one of: whether coverage enhancement (CE) is supported by the second base station, a maximum coverage enhancement (CE) level supported by the second base station, whether low-cost coverage enhancement (CE) is supported by the second base station, and coverage enhancement (CE) level criteria at the second base station.
