    摘要: An active matrix type liquid crystal display apparatus, including a pair of substrates and a liquid crystal layer interposed between said pair of substrates. One of the pair of substrates has plural scanning electrodes and plural signal electrodes arranged to cross the plural scanning electrodes. Pixels are formed at regions surrounded by the scanning electrodes and the signal electrodes. Respective ones of the pixels include an active element arranged at a vicinity of the crossing point of the scanning electrode and the signal electrode, a pixel electrode connected to the active element and a common electrode arranged in correspondence to the pixel electrode.     摘要: An output control apparatus is interposed between a host computer for generating data and a printer, and controls the printer. The control apparatus includes a plurality of data generators, a discriminator, a controller and a notifying device. The data generators interpret a plurality of printer languages and perform control processing. The discriminator analyzes received data and specifies by which of the plurality of data generators control based upon the received data is to be carried out. The controller, in a case where one data generator is not specified by the discriminator and an error resulting from interpretation failure occurs during the course of processing by one data generator selected under prescribed conditions, causes the discriminator to re-execute processing based upon data in which the interpretation failure occurred. The notifying device notifies of a request for re-transmission of data in a case where one of the data generators is specified anew by the controller.

    摘要: A pair of substrates each provided with an electrode film are adhered to each other at their peripheral portions through a sealing material to form an envelope. A liquid crystal material is injected into the envelope from a liquid crystal material injection port which is provided in a localized part of the sealing material. Then, the envelope is heated to a temperature higher than the normal room temperature, and a photosensitive curing adhesive is applied to the injection port while maintaining the envelope at the elevated temperature. After the application of the adhesive, the envelope is cooled to a temperature in the vicinity of the normal room temperature. Subsequently, the adhesive is hardened through irradiation of light at a temperature in the vicinity of the normal room temperature to hermetically seal the injection port, thereby finishing a liquid crystal display cell. Alternatively, the photo-sensitive curing adhesive may be applied at a temperature in the vicinity of the normal room temperature and then hardened at a temperature lower than normal room temperature.
