    摘要: A focus condition detecting device for a camera is disclosed. The device provides first and second image sensors for calculating correlations between images each having passed through an objective lens of the camera. A plurality of image detecting blocks are defined on the first image sensor in order to execute correlation calculations with respect to each block for detecting focus conditions. A focus condition which indicates the focus condition among those obtained from the correlation calculations with use of each block is employed as the most probable focus condition. In the present invention, correlation calculations unnecessary for finding the rearmost focus condition are omitted.

    摘要: The motor drive device according to the present invention drives a motor until a hold signal disappears and the motor is braked when the holding signal disappears. After a predetermined period from the time when the holding signal disappears, it is detected whether or not a completion position signal representing that the load has reached the normal complete position is output. If the completion position signal is not output, the motor is started again. The load is driven until the load reaches the position where the completion position signal is output, and then the motor is braked. Thus the load can be stopped at the correct position. Also, with the motor drive device according to the present invention, the motor may be braked after the load is driven by a predetermined amount. After a predetermined period has passed therefrom, it is detected whether or not a signal representing that the load is normally driven is output, and if the signal is not ouput, the motor is started again. The load is driven until the signal is output and then the motor is braked. Thus, the load can be correctly driven.

    摘要: A still camera system comprises a camera body together with either a back for film or a still video back which are selectively mountable onto the camera body. When the still video back is mounted, a part of light incident on an image pickup CCD is directed to a photoelectric conversion element provided in the still video back. An output current of the photoelectric conversion element is converted into a voltage by a conversion circuit, and the voltage is transmitted to the camera body. When the back for film is mounted, light reflected from the film is received by a photoelectric conversion element provided in the camera body, and an output current in the photoelectric conversion element is converted into a voltage by a conversion circuit in the camera body. Based on an output of an operation switch responsive to the mounting of the still video back onto the camera body, one of the output voltages in the two conversion circuits is selected by a selection switch, the selected voltage is integrated by an integration circuit, and, when an integrated value reaches a predetermined level, a disable signal is transmitted to a flash unit. Flash control is thus effected both when the still video back is mounted or when the back for film is mounted.

In each zone, a brightness distribution is obtained so as to detect a rough focusing condition in each zone, thereby producing a plurality of rough focusing condition data. Based on the result of the rough focusing condition data, one zone is selected. Furthermore, a precise focusing condition is detected in the selected zone based on the light contained in the selected zone, so as produce a precise focusing condition data. Based on the precise focusing condition data obtained from the selected zone, the object lens is driven to an infocus condition.

    摘要: A solid state image sensor drive apparatus in accordance with the present invention enables a solid state image sensor to start integration of photoelectric current in response to an integration clear signal so that electric charges are accumulated to a prescribed level and transferred to a shift register. The accumulated electric charges transferred to the shift register are read out successively based on a transfer signal so that it is supplied to a microcomputer performing various operations. At this time, if a request for interruption is inputted from a load to the microcomputer, the transfer signal supplied to the shift register is stopped and the content of the shift register is not supplied to the microcomputer. When the interruption processing in the microcomputer is completed, the transfer signal is supplied again to the shift register so that transfer of data from the shift register to the microcomputer is restarted.

The camera includes a unit for detecting a focusing condition of an objective lens, defined by the relationship between a position of an object to be photographed against the lens and a focus point of the lens; a unit for focusing the lens in accordance with the detected focusing condition so that the lens is moved to the in-focus position, a first light measurement unit for measuring light at a spot area corresponding to a region of the object to be detected at the detecting unit, a second light measurement means for measuring averaged light at another area broader than the first area, and a unit for controlling exposure amount. The exposure control unit determines the exposure amount on the basis of the spot metering data in a one-shot AF mode, or the averaged light measuring data which is defined as a data at a time, at least, when the lens is adjacent to the in-focus position, in a continuous AF mode.

    摘要: A camera, adapted to function with film speed data, includes structure for introducing the film speed data and for storing that data. Manually set exposure time data is also stored. A determination is made whether the film is advanced to the first effective film frame. The film speed or exposure time data is alternately indicated and the indication is controlled to indicate the film speed data until the film is advanced to the first effective film frame subsequent to which the indication is switched to indicate the exposure time data when the film is advanced to the first effective film frame. The indication may subsequently be manually switched to indicate the film speed data. The film speed data may be read from the film cartridge upon closure of the back lid of the camera and transferred to storage.
