    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable medium for reducing signaling overhead for a RedCap UE are provided. An example method may include receiving, from a base station, a grant associated with a set of random access channel (RACH) resources, a first part of the set of RACH resources for a reduced capability report including a set of overlapping resources that overlaps with a second part of the set of RACH resources for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) repetition request. The example method may further include transmitting, in the set of overlapping resources to the base station, one or more repetition requests or one or more repetition number indications.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may transmit, via a beam and via a first subset of intelligent reflection surfaces (IRSs), a first transmission comprising a first reference signal or a first sounding reference signal (SRS) request. The network node may obtain a first signal quality measurement based at least in part on the first transmission. The network node may transmit, via the beam and via a second subset of IRSs, a second transmission, the second transmission comprising a second reference signal or a second SRS request. The network node may obtain a second signal quality measurement based at least in part on the second transmission. The network node may identify at least one IRS based at least in part on the first signal quality measurement and the second signal quality measurement. Numerous other aspects are described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive first control information indicative of a resource allocation for reception of periodic multi-slot multi-cast transmissions. In some aspects, the control information may indicate a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration for multi-cast, multi-slot signaling. The resource allocation may include a set of multiple reception occasions over a set of multiple slots. The UE may receive one or more transport blocks during the set of multiple reception occasions over the set of multiple slots. In some aspects, the UE may transmit feedback information for the one or more transport blocks.
