    Abstract: Apparatuses and methods for waveform adaptations in RF sensing are described. An apparatus is configured to operate in one of a wireless communications mode or a sensing mode. The wireless communications mode is associated with at least one of a communications or sensing waveform. The sensing mode is associated with at least one of the communications or the sensing waveform, and the sensing and communication waveforms are different. The apparatus is also configured to obtain an indication of a switch to operate in another of the wireless communications or sensing mode. The apparatus is further configured to switch to the other mode per the indication. Another apparatus is configured to operate in the wireless communications or the sensing mode, to provide an indication of a mode switch, and to switch to the other mode per the indication.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may receive one or more service data units (SDUs) at a layer two (L2) layer of the transmitting device. The transmitting device may encode, at the L2 layer, the one or more SDUs according to one or more network coding parameters to obtain at least one encoded protocol data unit (PDU), the one or more network coding parameters comprising a rateless code. The transmitting device may generate, for the at least one encoded PDU, at least one corresponding PDU header. The transmitting device may output the at least one encoded PDU and the at least one corresponding PDU header from the L2 layer to a lower layer of the transmitting device for transmission to one or more receiving devices.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An encoding device may encode a set of source symbols using one or more raptor codes to generate a first set of encoded symbols and may transmit the first set of encoded symbols to a decoding device. The decoding device may successfully recover a source symbol of the set of source symbols from the first set of encoded symbols and may transmit an indication of the source symbol to the encoding device. The encoding device may encode one or more source symbols of the set of source symbols using the one or more raptor codes to generate a second set of encoded symbols based on receiving the indication of the source symbol and may transmit the second set of encoded symbols to the decoding device.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating CSI feedback in multiple-TRP communication are disclosed herein. An example method of wireless communication by a UE includes receiving, from a base station, a report configuration message triggering a channel state feedback procedure, the UE and the base station operating in a multiple transmission and reception point (multiple-TRP) communication mode, the report configuration message requesting a multiple-TRP transmission value including at least one of a quantity of layer indicator (LI) values and a strongest TRP indicator (STI) value. The example method also includes generating channel state information (CSI) information based on the receiving of the report configuration message, the CSI information including the multiple-TRP transmission value. The example method also includes transmitting, to the base station, a report including the generated CSI information.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may indicate to the network (e.g., a base station that the UE is communicating with) that the UE is transitioning to an energy harvesting mode, and the network may transmit an indication of a radio resource that is configured for the energy harvesting mode. The UE may communicate with the network via the configured radio resource during the energy harvesting mode. The network may transmit one or more parameters that may trigger the UE to enter the energy harvesting mode. The UE may transmit an indication that the UE is transitioning out of the energy harvesting mode to a normal capability mode, or the UE may transmit an indication that the UE is staying in the energy harvesting mode. The network may indicate, to the UE, a radio resource for a normal capability mode.
