Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication to perform physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring in a first monitoring span, of a first group of slots, and in a second monitoring span, of a second group of slots, wherein a start of the first monitoring span is at least a threshold number of slots away from a start of the second monitoring span. The UE may selectively perform the PDCCH monitoring in the first monitoring span or the second monitoring span based at least in part on the indication. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS) may transmit reference signals (RS) for the other device to estimate a channel and perform measurements. This disclosure provides for a UE to request a reference signal such as a channel state information (CSI) or a sounding reference signal (SRS). The BS transmits a radio resource control (RRC) message that configures the UE with one or more trigger states for CSI, SRS, or a combination thereof and a media access control (MAC) control element (CE) that activates a subset of the configured trigger states. In one aspect, the UE transmits an uplink request that indicates a trigger state for the UE. corresponding to at least one configured RS. The UE and the BS communicate the at least one RS corresponding to the trigger state for example, based on a grant from the BS or a time offset from the uplink request.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for determining which of two or more invalid symbol patterns to apply to at least one physical uplink shared channels (PUSCHs) with repetition, such as in a multi-transmit-receive-point (multi-TRP) situation where two or more invalid symbol patterns may be used to schedule respective PUSCHs. For example, a pattern may indicate one or more invalid symbols for PUSCH repetition Type B transmission. In a multi-TRP case, each TRP may have a separate pattern indicating different unavailable symbols. One invalid symbol pattern may not be enough for PUSCH transmissions to multi-TRPs. The present disclosure provides techniques for determining and applying one or more of at least two patterns to PUSCH transmissions with repetition.
