    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The methods include determining a sidelink message to transmit to a second user equipment (UE) over a time resource of a sidelink connection between a first UE and the second UE, encoding at least a subset of time periods of the time resource according to a configuration that is based on a switching time for the second UE for switching from a receiving mode to a transmitting mode during reception of the sidelink message during at least the subset of time periods of the time resource, and transmitting the sidelink message to the second UE using a set of time periods of the time resource that includes the subset of time periods.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may generate a pseudorandom noise (PN) sequence, modulate the PN sequence based at least in part on a modulation order parameter, and transmit the PN sequence in one or more symbols prior to transmitting sidelink data. The one or more symbols used to transmit the PN sequence may be used for automatic gain control (AGC) training at a receiving device. The user equipment may then transmit the sidelink data in a plurality of symbols that are subsequent in time relative to the one or more symbols used to transmit the PN sequence, and the receiving device may process the sidelink data based on the AGC training. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may support superimposed NR and LTE transmissions using an antenna port, in conjunction with an LTE-aware, NR slot structure (e.g., an NR V2X slot structure). In some aspects, the slot structure may protect portions of the LTE signal from interference, increasing LTE decoder robustness to interference which may provide opportunities for increasing the NR signal power. The UE may transmit a superimposed transmission of an LTE signal and an NR signal from a same antenna port in a same radio frequency resource. In some aspects, the slot structure may be modified so that the UE does not transmit when LTE reference signals are transmitted, so as to avoid interference with the LTE reference signals. A receiving UE may use the LTE reference signals to demodulate the LTE signal and the NR signal from the common time and frequency resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for sidelink wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE), such as a vehicle UE, that supports full-duplex communications may transmit a sidelink control channel during a set of time resources including scheduling information for a subsequent transmission by the UE via a first set of resources. The UE may receive a sidelink control channel during the set of time resources from a second UE that may support full-duplex communications or half-duplex communications. The sidelink control channel may include scheduling information for a subsequent transmission via a second set of time-frequency resources that at least partially overlaps with the first set of time-frequency resources. The first UE may determine that a collision will occur and may perform a resource selection procedure or may transmit a request for the second device to perform the resource selection procedure.

A first user equipment (UE) may receive, using a set of receive antennas, a first positioning reference signal (PRS). The first UE may transmit, using a set of transmit antennas in response to the received first PRS, a second PRS. The first UE may receive, from a second UE, a control message indicating time and position information for the first PRS transmitted by the second UE and for the second PRS received at the second UE. The first UE may determine a position of the first UE based on the received control message and composite time and position information for the first PRS received at the first UE and for the second PRS transmitted by the first UE.

    Abstract: The present implementations relate to codeblock concatenation for improved vulnerable symbol handling. For example, a transmitter user equipment (UE) may, for each of the first codeblock and the second codeblock, a first number of coded bits to be mapped to the first number of resource elements satisfying a vulnerability condition and the second number of resource elements not satisfying a vulnerability condition. The UE further extracts, for each of the first codeblock and the second codeblock, a subset of the first number of coded bits and a subset of the second number of coded bits. The UE further concatenates the subset of the first and second number of coded bits from the first codeblock and the second codeblock, and generates a concatenated codeblock for transmission including the concatenated subset of the first number of coded bits and the concatenated subset of the second number of coded bits.
