    Abstract: A method of operation of a terminal in a wireless communication system includes receiving a synchronization signal block (SSB) from a base station, decoding a master information block (MIB) included in the SSB, identifying a value based on at least one of subcarrier spacing (SCS) of the MIB, subcarrier offset for the SSB, and a reserved bit included in the SSB or MIB, and determining whether setting information related to a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) is included in a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) or a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) for initial connection, based on the identified value.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). Methods and apparatuses are provided in which first sidelink data and second sidelink data are received from one or more terminals. It is determined whether a first resource for transmitting first feedback information for the first sidelink data and a second resource for transmitting second feedback information for the second sidelink data overlap each other. When the first resource and the second resource overlap each other, feedback information corresponding to one of the first feedback information and the second feedback information having a higher priority, is transmitted to the one or more terminals. A priority of each of the first feedback information and the second feedback information is based on sidelink control information scheduling each of the first sidelink data and the second sidelink data.

    Abstract: A method for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) including information for downlink semi-persistent scheduling (DL SPS) release from a base station and transmitting an uplink channel including HARQ-ACK information for the PDCCH including the information for DL SPS release to the base station, in which a first symbol of the uplink channel is transmitted at least after a processing time (Tproc,3) from when a last symbol of the PDCCH is transmitted, and the processing time is determined based on a smaller value between a subcarrier spacing value of the PDCCH and a subcarrier spacing value of the uplink channel.
