    Abstract: A display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present inventive concept includes: a first substrate; a gate line extending parallel to a first direction; a storage electrode line disposed on the same layer as the gate line; a data line insulated from the gate line and the storage electrode line and extending parallel to a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; a drain electrode disposed on the same layer as the data line and including an expansion; a first electrode electrically connected to the drain electrode; a spacer disposed on the first electrode; a second substrate overlapping the first substrate; and a light blocking layer disposed on the second substrate and having an opening exposing the first electrode, a separation distance of the expansion of the drain electrode and the data line along the first direction is 1 μm to 10 μm.

    Abstract: An embodiment provides a display device including: a first substrate; a gate line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a first direction; a storage electrode line extending in the first direction on the same layer as the gate line and including a protrusion partially protruding in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; a data line insulated from the gate line and the storage electrode line and extending in the second direction; a drain electrode disposed on the same layer as the data line and including an extension portion overlapping the protrusion; a pixel electrode including a connecting portion electrically connected to the extension portion of the drain electrode; and a first spacer disposed on the pixel electrode and partially overlapping the protrusion of the storage electrode line, wherein the first spacer covers an edge of the connecting portion of the pixel electrode in the first direction.

    Abstract: A thin film transistor array panel includes a gate line elongated in an extension direction and including a gate and dummy gate electrode extended therefrom; and a source electrode, and a single drain member including a drain electrode at a first end thereof and a dummy drain electrode at an opposing second end thereof. The drain electrode faces the source electrode with respect to the gate electrode, and the dummy drain electrode overlaps the dummy gate electrode. The drain and dummy drain electrode respectively include a plurality of first and second regions each having a predetermined width in the extension direction. A second region includes an edge which forms an angle from about 0 degrees to about 90 degrees with the extension direction, and a planar area of at least one of the plurality of second regions is different from that of remaining second regions.
