摘要: A wireless communication network includes a non-access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) and an AP MLD. The non-AP MLD comprises at least two stations (STAs) affiliated with the non-AP MLD and a processor coupled to the at least two STAs. The processor is configured to communicate with the AP MLD on a plurality of links established between the non-AP MLD and the AP MLD. The processor is configured to generate a notification indicating a change in a set of numbers of supported spatial streams for each of one or more links established between the non-AP MLD and the AP MLD. The processor is configured to transmit a frame including the notification to the AP MLD. The processor is configured to initiate radio reconfiguration on the one or more links using the change in the set of numbers of supported spatial streams for each of the one or more links.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for link and traffic level emergency preparedness communication services (EPCS) setup and operations are disclosed. A method for wireless communication performed by a non-access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) that includes stations (STAs) comprises: forming a link with a corresponding AP of an AP MLD; receiving information associated with emergency preparedness communication services (EPCS) priority access from the corresponding AP; determining whether the EPCS priority access is enabled on all of the links between the STAs and the corresponding APs; when the EPCS priority access is enabled for all of the links between the STAs and the corresponding APs, continuing with current EPCS priority access; and when the EPCS priority access is not enabled for all of the links between the STAs and the corresponding APs, performing the EPCS priority access on some but not all of the links between the STAs and the corresponding APs.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for facilitating enhanced multi-link multi-radio (EMLMR) operation of multi-link devices (MLDs). A non-access point (AP) MLD comprises EMLMR STA, each comprising a transceiver configured to form a link with a corresponding AP of an AP MLD, and a processor. Each link is configured to support a respective basic modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and number of spatial streams (NSS), and the links are EMLMR links configured to operate in an EMLMR mode of operation in which the EMLMR links support an enhanced MCS and NSS. A first of the EMLMR STAs, in the EMLMR mode of operation, is configured to conduct a first EMLMR frame exchange with a first of the APs over a first of the links. The processor is operably coupled to the EMLMR STAs, and configured to control a behavior of other EMLMR STAs on other EMLMR links during the first EMLMR frame exchange.

摘要: A non-access point (AP) MLD comprises STAs, each comprising a transceiver that forms a link with a corresponding AP of an AP MLD, and a processor. A restricted TWT (R-TWT) schedule is established on a first link, and a first STA on that link is a member of an R-TWT service period (SP) on that link. A second STA on a second link is not a member of any R-TWT SP on that link that overlaps with the R-TWT SP on the first link. The processor transitions the non-AP MLD into EMLSR operation wherein the first and second links form an EMLSR link pair, determines that a transmission opportunity (TXOP) has begun on the second link, and coordinates between the STAs such that a frame exchange sequence with the AP MLD on the second link during the TXOP does not overlap with the R-TWT SP on the first link.
