According to embodiments of the present invention, an identification number of a dedicated random access preamble is, in a message, transmitted together with information indicating in which channel or channels the preamble is valid for the UE. The UE can then use the received information and based on that information perform a random access.

摘要: According to certain embodiments, a method (400) by user equipment (UE) (300) is provided for avoiding bearer state mismatch that includes storing, by the UE, a passive context for use in resuming a connection with a network node (600). While the UE is in an inactive state, the UE locally deactivates at least one radio bearer. The UE signals, to the network node, an indication that the at least one radio bearer has been deactivated locally and the network node consequently modifies the stored bearer context.

摘要: A basestation in a cellular communications network is operable to send a message to a Mobility Management Entity, relating to a suspension or resumption of a connection of a UE, wherein the message contains key renewal information. The Mobility Management Entity receives the message, and determines whether a key renewal condition is met. If the key renewal condition is met, the MME forwards a new NH, NCC pair to the base station. If a message received from the MME includes a NH, NCC pair, the basestation derives keying information using the NH, NCC pair for future use in deriving keys.

摘要: A method for retransmission of uplink transmissions, performed by a wireless device with configured uplink grants. The method comprises transmitting a first transmission to a network node with a redundancy version (RV). The wireless device then determines to retransmit the first transmission, and retransmits the first transmission with a retransmission RV based on the type of retransmission. For a non-adaptive retransmission, the retransmission RV value is the same as the RV of the first retransmission. For an adaptive retransmission, the retransmission RV is the RV value received in a retransmission grant.

Therefore load control of load associated with the access attempt of the communication device (40) may be accomplished in a fast, easy and flexible way.
