The present invention provides therapeutic formulations for hematopoietic diseases comprising as effective ingredient, synoviolin which is reported to be isolated as a synovial cell protein and its gene, and therapeutic methods and such comprising the step of administering the protein or polynucleotide. The present invention also provides as models of hematopoietic diseases, animals whose synoviolin is homozygously deficient and cells derived from such animals; and additionally provides methods that use these models in the screening of therapeutic agents for hematopoietic diseases.

A support table holds a working fluid in an inner space thereof, and has four cylindrical heaters arranged to surround a cooling plate disposed centrally of the support table. In time of heating, vapor generated from each cylindrical heater spreads toward a central region and peripheral regions of the support table (as schematically shown in two-dot chain line arrows). The vapor can reach peripheral ends, without flows of the vapor colliding with one another, in a way to suppress generation of stagnation points. Since the support table can be heated uniformly, a substrate is heat-treated uniformly over the entire surface thereof. The support table is cooled efficiently by the cooling plate disposed centrally of the support table.

The resin-sealed semiconductor device includes a resistor of a plate-like form anchored at both ends to the upper main surface of a substrate thereof. A space is provided between the resistor and the substrate. The primary components including the resistor mounted on the substrate are sealed with a curing resin material. In particular, the resistor has an aperture provided in a portion thereof, which is opposite to the substrate and defines the space with the substrate, for communication between the space and the upper side of the resistor.
