摘要： A connector has a retainer (6) with a housing lock (4) engageable with a housing (3) and a terminal lock (5) cantilevers forward from a bottom side of the housing lock (4) to lock female terminal fittings (1). Restricting portions (7) are formed on a surface of the terminal lock (5) to face the housing (3). The restricting portions (7) can contact bottom end surfaces (3A) of the opposite side walls of the housing (3) along the width direction, thus preventing the terminal lock (5) from entering cavities (2) to hinder the insertion of the female terminal fittings (1) when the female terminal fittings (1) are inserted into the cavities (2).

Thus, regardless of the specifications of the female terminal fittings (8), the female terminal fittings (8) can be mounted into all the terminal chambers 7 without exceeding the upper-limit value of the operation load of the auxiliary connectors (6).

The construction includes a pair of locking portions (8) that project at the top and bottom of each of left and right side portions of a two-contact connector (1). If the connector housing (1) is inserted into a mount opening (34) of the cover (32), the locking portions (8) shown at the shown right side come into contact with the cover-side projections (35, 36) of the cover (32). Thus, even if an attempt is made to forcibly insert the connector housing (1) into the cover (32), this cannot be done by the mutual interference of the locking portions (8) and the projections (35, 36). In this way, an error assembling of the connector housing (1) and the cover (32) can be prevented.

The pipe has smaller and larger diameter portions with the smaller diameter portion located between the second opening and the larger diameter portion. An axially moveable plug is receivable within the smaller diameter portion to seal the second opening of the pipe. An axially moveable engaging member with an end for engaging the plug and a needle at the opposite end for piercing the stopper of a vial. The plug may be pushed by the engaging member from the smaller diameter section to the larger diameter section so as to permit flow through the pipe between the first and second openings to the vial and container.
