    摘要: In a ring spinning frame provided with two parallel alignments of bobbin hangers, a plurality of roving guides is arranged in an alignment at an intermediate position between the two alignments of bobbin hangers, wherein a first group of roving guides is formed by roving guides alternately positioned in the roving guide arrangement and a second group of roving guides is formed by the remained roving guides thereof, an improved creel mechanism for relatively displacing the first group of roving guides and the second group of roving guides whereby a first intervening space between two adjacent roving guides and a second intervening space between two adjacent roving guides are alternately formed along the alignment of the roving guides, wherein the first intervening space ensures a free passage of a full packaged roving bobbin but the second intervening space does not permit a free passage of the full packaged roving bobbin, the above-mentioned formation of two intervening spaces being created alternately, at each intervening space between two adjacent roving guides, by the reciprocal motion of the displacing mechanism.

    摘要: A toolholder assembly is divided into a drive toolholder coupled to the drive spindle of a machine tool, and a driven toolholder carrying a cutting tool such as a drill. The driven toolholder is coupled end to end to a drive toolholder so as to be rotatable relative to the same through a preassigned angle about the toolholder axis. A coiled torsion spring acts between the drive and the driven toolholders for torque transmission from the former to the latter. The drive and the driven toolholders have interdigitating teeth with clearances therebetween. A phase detector such as a proximity switch detects a relative phase displacement that will occur between the interdigitating teeth against the force of the torsion spring upon development of abnormal torque load on the cutting tool. Preferably, the interdigitating teeth have bevels in sliding engagement with each other for causing a relative phase displacement between the teeth upon axial displacement of the driven toolholder toward the drive toolholder, so that not only abnormal torque load but also abnormal thrust load on the cutting tool is detectable by the phase detector.

The radius of the forward end of the fringe control member is made smaller than the radius of a peripheral surface of the tip end of the combing needles of the needle segment, so that a recessed portion is formed adjacent to and behind the last alignment of combing needles of the needle segment.

    摘要: A road-cleaning vehicle has a pneumatic pickup head held against the road surface for collecting rubbish therefrom as a current of air is supplied from a blower. Carrying the collected rubbish, the air flows from the pickup head to a rubbish hopper in which the rubbish is deposited. Rid of the rubbish but still laden with dust particles, the air flows from the rubbish hopper to an air-dust separation chamber having a generally cylindrical shape, in which the dust is centrifugally separated from the carrier air as the latter spirals toward the blower. The air-dust separation chamber has a dust outlet open to an entrance end of a dust collection vessel generally sloping downwardly as it extends away from the air-dust separation chamber and terminating at an exit end open to the rubbish hopper. Hingedly mounted to the exit end of the dust collection vessel is a door which, during the rotation of the blower, is closed against the exit end by virtue of a partial vacuum created in the vessel, until the weight of the separated dust on the door overcomes the suction being exerted thereon. Preferably, the dust particles are sprayed with water before being admitted into the air-dust separation chamber.

    摘要: A rodless cylinder assembly comprises a cylinder barrel provided with an axial bore in which a piston is slidably fitted and a slit formed in the outer surface thereof so as to be directed upwardly. A slide mount is operatively connected to the piston through connecting member integrally formed with the piston and projecting outwardly through the slit to be slidable along the upper surface of the cylinder barrel in an axial direction in accordance with the movement of the piston. The slide mount is slid along first guide rails disposed on the upper surface of the cylinder barrel at both sides of the slit and along second guide rail formed in opposite side walls of the cylinder barrel. Guide members are disposed between the second guide rails and side depending walls portions of the slide mount and the clearance between the second guide rails and the guide members can be adjusted by screw means. Each of the second guide rails has a guide surface inclined inwardly towards a cross-sectionally central portion of the cylinder barrel.The above construction makes it possible to cause the slide mount to move smoothly along the cylinder barrel irrespective of external forces acting on the assembly.

    摘要: An apparatus for preventing an unwinding of a roving end from a full package roving bobbin during the transportation thereof. This apparatus is constructed in combination with the transportation mechanism formed in the known doffing mechanism or known overhead roving bobbin transportation system, in a condition such that a part of the constitutional mechanical elements of such known transportation mechanisms are utilized as a part of the constitutional mechanical elements of the apparatus according to the present invention. In the apparatus of the present invention, a pressing member is utilized for applying pressure against the peripheral face of the winding portion of each roving bobbin while this bobbin is rotating, and therefore the free end of the roving is firmly attached to the above-mentioned peripheral face of the roving bobbin. Consequently, any possible problems due to an unexpected unwinding of the roving can be effectively prevented.
